He beat Kodzoev in his 5th or 6th pro fight.Very impressive IMO. Furthermoe he defeated the very decent and capable Georgian Gogiya in one of his last fights. His fight record isnt that bad at all.
Andrade ain't gonna let this one get by. He wants the title badly. He got a taste and he was unlucky against Bute but now he'll want it more than ever. I feel sorry for Tsypko. He's gonna take a very bad beating from a very angry Andrade!!
What option does Sauerland have for a Abraham-Bute fight? I know Saeurland has one option for a fight against Bute, and that would be the Mads Larsen fight. If Saeuland wants to keep the option for Abraham, that means Bute is free to fight Taylor for his next fight. Am I right or do you know something I don't?
Tsypsko is a pretty good boxer and if Andrade don't KO him, he will loose on points. It's all gonna be a question if Tsypko can withstand the pressure of Andrade or not. Really... When did Larsen beat a guy as good as Tsypko or Lacy? Wont Sauerland be using their option on Larsen vs Bute, if that happens?
Taylor-Bute si possible then. As Larsen-Bute. We'll have to wait until January at the earliest to know. Larouche usually doesn't talk until the contract is signed.
tsypko is a very very good southpaw boxer technician. made lacy look like a joke before and after calzaghe go to him. sadly he seems to be a if in doubt do nout philosphy just waiting for guys to ring the phone and fight him
Thing is, so far only one boxer could withstand Andrade's pressure (Kessler). Bute could until the 11th round and crumbled in the 12th. Tsypko certainly has the tools to outbox Andrade, like several of Andrade's earlier opponents, question is if he can hold up long enough to see the end of the 12th round and get the decision.
Well some would say he beat Sven Ottke, and he KO´ed Thulani Malinga a guy i would rate on level with Tsypko and the present Lacy!
Hrm yes he had a close fight with Ottke but lost. Quite a few had infact. Malinga was 44 years old. Hardly I would say this guy at age 44 was as good as Lacy nor Tsypko. So who did he beat that was as good as Lacy or Tsypko ?
I guess you didnt see Malinga at 44 then. He aged well as a boxer and was at the same level as Tsypko and Lacy is now. As boxrec tells you he beat Robin Reid at the age of 42 in the UK. And losing a MD to Ottke in Germany at that time is a good indicator that you is a good fighter!
I am pretty sure both Tsypko and Lacy would have beat Malinga at 44 too. I didn't think Larsen won against Ottke although I will agree with you it is Larsens best achievement, having a close fight with Ottke. Anyway my point is Larsen never really was "that good" as some make it sound (I think Hausler on paper is the best he beat?) and his best performance was a close fight with Ottke. Sure he may be good (was), but to speak of him as clearly better than Tsypko or Lacy I think is wrong.
I am pretty sure that Malinga would have beat both Tsypko and Lacy at 44. Have you seen Mads Larsen fight? Before his long time off from boxing he was a beast of a SMW and better than Kessler at the time! Clearly better than Lacy or Tsypko ever was. The main question is though how good is he now? Bute will answer that i guess. If Mads Larsen brings his A-game Bute could be in trouble!
Yes, I have pretty much seen all of Larsens fights, aswell as Kesslers btw. - It's easy to look good when you are fed with no good opponents. I don't think Mads Larsen was ever at the stage Kessler is now, granted Kessler was fed with crap opponents aswell until he met Siaca, but atleast from there he had reasonable opposition, which Mads Larsen never had except for Ottke, to whom he lost. For your question though, I think Larsen is as good now as he was back then and I don't see Bute in trouble
