    I'll tell you this kid...
As long as their is no repeat of the Super League fiasco, South Sydney will ALWAYS find a way to financially survive.
Even when the Super League thing occurred, and we had Piggins as Chairman, we were still able to get Kerry Stokes on board as sponsor which meant we would have been getting more sponsorship money than a lot of other clubs.

Theres just too much love around for Souths to see them go bust. I'm sorry that this does your head in, but it's true.

You should worry about your own backyard, and Politis' waning interest instead. :yep

He has actually been going very good. One of the better Titan players this year. He should be playing half back but we have Scott Prince who just won't budge from the position :-(

I knew a month ago Titans wouldnt resign and am glad the Broncos picked him up this week.

Who you trying to kid mate, he's been playing **** and made it to the "worst buys of the season" list" topped it in fact.

He has been tearing it up in the QLD Cup though. 15 trys in 11 or so games, but as I told you before, Capewell is the king of the trials, and you can add meaningless games to his resume as well.

Capewell off to the Bronx huh?! Well, I dont pretend to know more about league then those guys, or any guys involved in the game, but if the kid failed dismally trying to fill Matt Rogers' boots, how the **** is he going to fill Lockyer's?!

there is talent there though, and it wouldnt surprise me to see Brisbane unleash it.

General feeling at Camp Titans forum is anger about Capes leaving and they are starting to turn on Carty.

I have seen him play, and after doing so it made me feel a whole lot better that Souths rid themselves of this joke of a footballer.

Sutton has many faults, but even this lazy unmotivated chunk of a player is 5 times better than what Capesmell has shown us this season.

Capewell ****ing stinks teke! Time to get with the program big fella. :good

    WORST BUYS
Luke Capewell (Gold Coast Titans): The former South Sydney livewire was bought as a partner to Scott Prince, but the step up proved too much and he was dumped after round seven and not seen again until round 19. Part of the blame falls on Gold Coast, however; the decision to buy the 28-gamer as a suitable replacement for Mat Rogers proved grossely optimistic.
Mark Riddell (Sydney Roosters): The former Dragons and Parramatta hooker was brought back from Super League to add experience to the Chooks; yet he never adjusted to the pace. Lacking penetration as the back-up hooker to Jake Friend, Riddell called stumps in after 11 games, the club forced to pick up Parramatta youngster Anthony Mitchell in a mid-season transfer.
Matt Orford (Canberra): The Raiders paid big money and then pinned their hopes on the 2008 Dally M Medallist steering the club through the first half of the season. By the time star playmaker Terry Campese got back on the field their finals hopes were all but over, the Raiders failing to win a game when The Ox took the field.
Greg Eastwood (Canterbury-Bankstown): Sadly, Canterbury-Bankstown fans have seen little minutes or impact from the former Kiwi backrower. Eastwood is an experienced forward playing in a beaten pack, and looks a shadow of the player who left the Dogs at the end of 2009 to take up a contract with UK club Leeds Rhinos.
Paul Whatuira (Parramatta): Eels chief executive Paul Osborne announced the signing of Whatuira as a "proven international performer who brings class and experience to our backline". But after just one unflattering game for the club in the round two loss to Penrith, the 29-year-old was never seen again.
