Even the sharks CEO said they didn't want him. Can't really blame him too. He was as soft as fairyfloss during his last few seasons in the Nrl.

 

I'll bet he ends up at the panthers

i honestly could see gould taking him on and keeping him on the
straight(ish) and narrow

I remember he used to talk him up deluxe as a future nsw and australian captain..

 

as much as i respect gus as a judge of footy talent, he has lost me on mason. perhaps he can bring out the best in mason. certainly the talent is there, its the personality that ****s him up.

gus is a great psycologist though. he turned mark geyer into a half literate funny man that demands thousands at corporate stand ups.

 

I'd be very surprised if Gus held mason in high regard now.
I believe he made those comments in 2004/2005, and did so to try and unleash the best out of him. It didn't, and the rest is history.

 

i hope mason plays for guyra.be good to watch him get his head taken off for a few weeks
