Whats everyones top 8 for this year?? who agrees that teh Dragons will struggle to make teh top 8..

So there will be record number disappointment then? You can be proud in 25 years when the Rabbitohs have been dumped for 10 years, for not making a GF appearance in 15 years. At least they didn't merge though. Merges are forbidden, especially in Business.

 

I think teh warriors might struggle too...
Titans and Penrith.... big call, would love to see the Pantehrs there though

 

Penrith only missed last year due to injuries. Titans just had a terrible season, they've hit rock bottom they can only go up now. ****** off the back so to speak. They have also had some excellent buys. I don't think it will be too bad.

 

On paper it should be a stellar season. They have Ash Harrison, Greg Bird, Nate Myles and Mini in the 2nd row - that is a State of Origin backrow right there. Then they will have Luke Douglas & Ryan James joining Bailey up front. Plenty of speed out wide, big Jamal up might go alright and Prince wont have to do it all himself this year. On paper they should be easy top 8 but...

It will be another very competitive season next year with a shitload of teams with a stones throw of each other.

New Season about to start and we are already getting Ricky Stuarts ugly mug in the media talking about NSW state of origin hopes :-(

 

Why would we need to merge? Most members, biggest sponsorship in Sydney, heàlthy crowds, one of only a few clubs trading at a profit

If you follow a club that merged & your happy about it then I'd guess your a recent convert, there could be nothing more soul destroying in sport when it comes to inherent tribalism & especially when an old American **** made them do it & lose all that history, sad really

 

I never knew South Australia were in the origin, because if they were, they'd be boasting about as little quality as those names you mentioned.

It'll be another poor season for the Titans. They need a shake up, and the sacking of Cartwright, and the appointment of Smith for next year will set them off in the right direction, if only temporarily.

Manly Warringan will make St.Merge's 2011 title defence, and Mundine's title defence against Siaca look heroic. The Dogs have stripped them so dry, that even their marketing group dont have a clue.

The scum have already had their 'moment' of 2012, and that was having a coffee with SBW. You'll wanna hope thats he's already signed, because come mid season you'll be in a slap fest with the Titans over who gets bottom, whilst letting off your annual foul wretched stench off the field, he'll demand another three zero's on the end of the already ridiculous figure you sloths have thrown at him.



The Top 8, as it's going to happen...

1.Souths - New coach has brought upon a much deeded mental toughness and additude. If we dont drop points in the first 3 weeks, we wont at all, and thats all there is to it. :deal

2.Tigers - Recruited well, and were already unlucky not to go further in 2011. They will make the grand final with Souths, and if luck goes their way, it may just be like the 69 grand final where they pull off a great upset. More than likely though, it'll be like in 1909 where they dont even show up.

3. Melbourne - They'll always be up here, or there abouts. Nuff said.

4.Warriors - Wont quite live up to their 2011 season, but will come good under their new coach.

5. Dogs - Gotta have a **** team in there somewhere, and the Dogs usually do have a good year after a **** year. Have recruited well too.

6. Brisbane - All this **** city has is it's ****ing league, so they should be up their somewhere. Wont win it though, so will have to be content with just winning the annual log rolling rum spitting title.

7.Cronulla - Have recruited ok, and are fighting for their survival. The battlers will creep into the top 8 and give neutral fans an underdog to cheer for.

8.Knights - Tinkler and Bennett will come at loggerheads with one another, which will result in a poor season.

Spoon - Scum - It's only fitting for Brian Smith's tenure at the scum to come full circle and finish the way it was when he took over. A new breed of toiletries shall emerge in 2013 as the league community says a big "**** off" to the likes of Anasta. Issac Luke just may cannonball him into a premature retirement too. :yep
