going out in the city in Sydney has gotten ****en ridiculous... last few times i have gone out i have seen probably 10 fights and nearly gotten in two over nothing... ****ing animals out there. Not to be racist myself, but most seem to be gangs of middle eastern blokes and really drunk white dudes...and the occasional asian timezone knife fight :rofl

and the girls are just as bad... lying drunk in gutters, spewing in MacDonalds and even one girl pissing at a bus stop haha

 

They wont get their arses handed to them, its going to be tough considering their injury list but as the season rolls on we will see what happens

if people mouth off i think its fair to wack someone on the ****en chin and give them a wake up call, these footy players cop it all the time and usually go on and take it without much fuss at all, but this had to be serious for someone like marshal to react so bad...
i havent been going out much lately at all in the city lately because i find it has the most drunk idiots out of the lot, and there is always someone mouthing off, these guys need to have a life to and should be able to go out in public like the rest of us, i just wish when they fuk up eg drink driving, drugs or wahtever they get the same punishment we would...

 

I think the reason why the police have already charged Benji is because the grub who he hit went straight to The Rocks police station and filed a complaint, while Benji went home and didn't bother going any further with the incident. Therefore, in the eyes of the law, the grub is the plaintiff and Marshall is the defendant.

It sounds like the grub was racially abusing Marshall, but I suspect there was more to it than that for Marshall to hit the guy - Marshall strikes me as being a fairly sensible bloke and I don't think he would have lashed out just because of a few insults or taunts.

Interesting to see Gallop pressuring the Tigers to have a full report on the incident on the NRL's desk by midday today - what a ****wit Gallop is - suspends Brett Stewart for 4 games because of being drunk at the Sea Eagles' season launch (when everyone knows it was really due to the sexual assault charges), never made any contact with Stewart during the whole 2 year ordeal of the sexual assault charade, yet goes running to meet with Todd Carney and defends not suspending him for the drink-driving charge because the circumstances were different?

Stewart was arrested for sexual assault charges and eventually found innocent = suspended for 4 games.

Carney was arrested for drink-driving and doesn't require a court case to be found guilty - the breathtest reading is the evidence = no suspension.

Gallop reckons Stewart's transgression was worse than Carney's? ****ing *****.

I hope Benji doesn't get suspended because Invertebrate Gallop feels like making an example of him after being so soft on Carney :-(

One thing that didn't surprise me was the fact that the guy Benji hit was a middle eastern man in his 20's, and surprise surprise a Bulldogs supporter. These young middle eastern blokes have got such a chip on their shoulder and they love to play the victim, and the minute anything goes sour they pull the race card. I bet if Benji had called him a wog their would have been 20 of them kicking the **** out of him

The fact this young bloke went straight to the cops suggests to me he got exactly what he was after, a story to tell his mates and the hope of making a quick buck. I hope they dont mention this *****'s name so he doesnt get the satisfaction of thinking he has achieved something

 

he is hopeless, seriously hopeless. The head of the NRL needs to be someone who has actually played the game and someone people respect. Gallop is like a kid who got beat up at school and is now taking it out on everyone else. Complete turd.

Funny, on the radio this morning they were saying police have pretty much dismissed any notion it was a racially-motivated attack because the 'victim' is of Middle Eastern appearance.

And yeah, Gallop is useless, he's never been any good in a crisis and is totally inconsistent with his rulings when it comes to disciplining clubs and/or players.

To add to the Carney incident - Stewart had never been in any sort of trouble before the '09 season launch, yet Carney has a record as long as your arm when it comes to alcohol-inspired mayhem. Stewart had been asked to leave the Wharf Bar and did so, and caught a taxi home. he didn't cut up rough when he was asked to leave, he didn't assault anyone on his way home, he didn't chunder on anyone's doorstep or fall asleep in front of a police station, he didn't set anyone's pants on fire or **** on anyone's leg, he didn't jump in his car and try to drive home.

Gallop reacted with the 4 game suspension because he thought he had to be seen as condeming the sexual assault charge, even though Stewart had not been found guilty of it. Gallop hid behind the fact that Stewart was intoxicated and asked to leave the Wharf Bar. Now that Stewart has been exonerated of the sexual assault, has Gallop made any effort to contact Stewart to give him a wrap for maintaining his professionalism over the 2 years of hell he was put through by that slut?

If Gallop had half a brain in his head he'd stop and think about exactly how much Carney must have had to drink the night before he was busted to still have over 0.05 in his system the next morning, and compare that to the number of beers Carney 'admitted' he actually had when they had lunch together.

Extrapolate further and you would have to wonder if Carney had actually gone to sleep at all, and instead was maybe actually trying to drive home after a night on the turps? :hey

 

ImBruMan: - It isn't hard at all to register a reading like that at all you can finish at midnight and still be over at 7-9am the next day. Just because he has had 6+ hrs of rest, does not mean it will get rid of it. In fact the metabolism and alcohol filtration will slow right down to bugger all. Easy to do. I think both are harsh to be honest.

As for the not being racist because he isn't white... Nothing unusual there. All these ****s cry victim when they get called on their own bull****.

 

So now they are claiming there was no racist comments made? I just cant see Benji punching someone because they think Lockyer is better. Benji is a huge Lockyer supporter and the two are mates from what i believe. Also, apparently he had only consumed 2 or 3 drinks. Something stinks about the whole thing
