We got rid of jellyfish Minichello, and thats when we were regular bottom 2 finishers.

Mini on roids wouldnt get anywhere near our current top 17.

 

Mini is our bench player and you didnt get rid of him he is on 300 here, he upgraded and went to a team that finished 2nd (2009) 3rd (2010) after 26 weeks

I follow Parramatta Eels, if you have been on here for more than 3 minutes other than to spurt Green and Red pride, you would know that.

That is a silly arguement, that is like saying we can't appreciate Peter Brock and his Holden prowess because they became Group A, then V8 Supercars. You can still have amazing history with merged teams, sometimes it's just in the clubs best interest.

Most merged clubs have one premierships at least... That is what they would be glad about. Mergers that don't pay off are embarrassing. :deal

I don't doubt Souths will be strong in patches this year, but under new coaching I doubt they will go that good in their first year, there will always be teething problems.
