Not a great example there. How many games did Polla Mounter play for NSW? I'm guessing it's somewhere between 0 and....0. A duck. Inglis however, would have to be close to the first player being picked, in probably the strongest origin squad ever. In other news.... :rofl at Manly being thumped 38-6 by the Sharkies.
It doesn't matter how many he played for NSW, he'd have definitely played for Qld and the principle is the same.
why wouldnt he be a good coach? youd think hed get alot of respect. hes one of the toughest men to ever play the game thats gotta count for something in the players eyes. pretty sure he won a comp with one of his junior teams not long ago.
Definately would have the guys respect for his own playing days but not have their respect with his coaching/strategic mind.. I was coached at penny by brett kenny in jersey flegg..we won the comp but he was such a let down as a coach he got released by penrith that yr.. Who get released after winning a comp.. Great players dont always make even decent coaches sometimes.. Geoff toovey is one man i couldnt imagine having too many plan b's ..
i remember when i was in london my mate was playing for the london broncos in the world club challenge against Canterbury & he knocked Polla-Mounter out, we actually requested he do it
:deal A player I know born overseas, lived half his life here in Qld played his first Snr footy here in Qld for a Q Cup side but nooooo it goes by where he played his first actual Snr game...a game that was under 16s in NSW atschatsch
Just read that quantum have pulled the pin on manly after recently buying out delmege's shares in the club. Front office looks to be on its knees over at manly.
Where have you been? they already do play origin and have for 20 yrs Adrian Lam, Jarrod Hayne, Uate etc etc
