You can't judge a book by it's cover. I thought Hasler was going to be the single worst coach in history after watching him play in my youth. At least with Toovey you know he isnt a total ****....the guy has spent more time on the field barking out orders as a trainer than some of the current players :D

Inglis is ****ing hopeless seriously, he shows nothing now days and hardly looks anything like he did at melbourne, and when he does do something he usually gets up limping...but everyone turns to **** once they put that red and green jersey on so i guess he has an excuse..

    LoL@$ouffs

i told you he was a dud buy :rofl:rofl

    Maybe next time.

    His weight is a problem..hes a big man..110kgs plus..

He was the man when he was high 90s and agile as...Now with so much weight on his frame his agility is shot to **** and injuries are coming thick and fast..

I think inglis should still lose a few kgs but i dont think thats going to happen..He used to be so agile and devastating when he was carrying less timber..

Any chance of him moving to lock..maybe play a ball playing lock role..??he will get more clean ball there atleast..Luke lewis seems to play that role very well.

I dont really think his weight is that bad.
He's a naturally big man, and uses his size to his advantage. He was under 100kgs years ago, but he naturally developed into a bigger man, and has maintained his speed, but as you say, has lost a bit of his agility.

His injuries are a **** though, but from what I've heard (from supposed insiders), the injury isnt that bad (4-8 weeks).

Issac Luke will just have to cannonball one of the scum players into a rehab centre just to even things up. :yep

He looks pretty ripped in this pic. For him to go under 100 would result in him losing a lot of muscle.

I never said he wouldnt have a good game here and there, but what i am saying is he will never be like he was, he had lost it, and Souffs wasted a lot of money on this over hyped player. Without his cheating storm team he is useless. and once he gets back from this injury he will just get injured again. Plus teams have figured out how to defend him now, Because his lack of agility its not hard to get 2-3 defenders on him like they did last night. he had an average 2011 and you will see more of the same this year =)

See you in Round 1 vermin

He has gotten very bottom heavy...He went from lanky legs to tree trunks...And with his added size to lower half and loss of agility the injuries have come thick and fast..

He is still one best players in the world regardless..but souths wont get asmuch as melbourne did from the leaner more mobile inglis...

Id have inglis in any team, one of the first picked - Thats a fit and healthy inglis.

He was training great over summer apparently...bad luck for him that he picked up an injury.

I said this exactly one year ago. Inglis does need to shed some weight to be at his most devastating best. His second year at Melbourne he was an absolute wrecking ball, and made Gasnier who at the time was a top centre look like a ****ing idiot in every game they contested.

Inglis is a ****ing great player, and he deserves more success, but I feel with that much weight, he will eventually move into second row.

He is not a little kid anymore, he isn't dropping anymore weight. He looks very fit and strong and will have a good year.

C'mon Teke he was 19-20 and devastating. I think he would have easily been able to keep the weight off..\

Yeah of course he looks fit and strong, but as aways at a cost, agility and manouverability suffers.
