Even after thousands of years of tradition and maintaining a stiff upper lip, when they finally lowered themselves to spending money in an effort to buy a premiership they still sucked.

Like watching two ****s from the street fighting over a chiko roll... :patsch

You both support disliked teams. Deal with it.

This may shock you... But only Souths fans and nostalgic wankbots like Souths.

I'll take my Parramatta team which can actually make it into the 8 more than once in a decade, than the history of the NSWRL and now horrendous team...

Also this may also shock you, but Roosters have just as much claim to being Rugby League as you do.

How many teams were in the comp consistently from 1908 til 1950? I heard somewhere it was like 6 teams?

    Genuine Question.

    Scrap that 6. Til 1920's...

Then 8 when the Canterbury Bulldogs jumped in 1935...

    Not much competition...

look up all the original teams, you're in front of a computer, google is your friend :patsch

I'll give you a little hand, Annandale, University, Glebe & Newcastle were all there in 1908

Since 1950 Souths have still won 9

****in hell, if it was something to do with two wheeled death machines you'd be on google in a nano second

you take your parramatta, westy scum

They had one good little run in the 80's & that was about it really, theres nothing worse than having to watch games live with teams like Parra, Penrith, Canterbury & Wests, all those great unwashed westies, they disgust me

    Newcastle came in 1988...

It was Newtown. Glebe, Balmain, Rooters, Bunnies, Norths.

I feel the same way about watching a Rabbitohs game.

That's fine mate, love who you love. Just stop retaliating with the same one liners that every south fan has...

It's the NRL now. Not the NSWRFL.
