that song is one of the most vile pieces of corporate garbage i have ever heard, as is anything bon jovi does these days.... the footage is good though.
met Blocker Roach and Layne Beachley yesterday at the airport on my way to Melbourne. Talked to Blocker about the tigers in the virgin lounge for a bit about the tigers and he reckons we will go all the way this year. He must know Layne Beachley, she came over said hi to him and then me and i left them to it. She isnt a particularly nice looking woman but her body and smile are ****ing 10/10...she has a weird aura like you know she would be an awesome person i swear the last 10 times i have flown and stopped at the lounge i have seen or met someone famous.... john jarratt was the last one over in perth
Tigers are and have been too hot and cold over the last 3 yrs for me to say that they are title favourites this year. They are getting alot of love from many ppl, are they the new Chokers of the sport?
dude getting beaten by the best teams hardly makes us chokers... we usually do better than expected and the game against the warriors last year was a 50/50
Losing consistently when you are favourites to win is pretty much choking. The Warriors game was the ultimate choke, Benji and Robbie should have closed up shop and easily won that match
The promotion and advertising of NRL has been disgraceful in comparison to the quality of the product. There are better videos on youtube showcasing everything that is beautiful about the game or the little pieces that the channel 9 do within half an hour of a game finishing are more exciting and polished. I think the problem is that the people who are creating the ads aren't actually league fans themselves. That being said this is an improvement although Bon Jovi is about 20 years past his relevancy.
:deal They keep bringing in these completely irrelevent has beens hoodoo gurus billy idol bon jovi If your going to bring in some old timers at least get the best old timers and make sure theyre australian. get ****en AC/DC or someone in AC/DC + league = garanteed success
Or...without putting their eggs all in one basket create a few simultaneous ads that appeal to various age groups / cultures, i.e rock, hip hop, country. The other thing is to let the game sell itself. Create 15-30 second spots from the best tries or hits that week as ads. Keeps it fresh and it's easy to do these days.
Fck's sakes, the old Tooheys "How do ya feel" ads were better advertising for rugby league that the shyte they've come out with the past 10 years.
exactly. get them to play at the grand final, youd sell out before people even knew who the teams were.
