Not sure I agree with this. Locky certainly loves the new guys paying his wages!

 

The great thing about rugby league is just how fluent the game is. Its pretty much non stop action and doesn't suffer the same absurd stoppages that rugby union has.

I beg to differ, it has plenty of stoppages and these weekend games have showed it. The only fluent game this weekend has been the Manly/Warrirors game. Rest have been mud

 

Bookies should close the Minor Premiership Market and start paying out on the Sea Eagles, they are going to be very very Tough to beat this year.

Is that a fact? Got any evidence to support that prior to the Broncos coming to be, every QLD'er was taken? I distinctly recall the BRL Competition had about 12+ teams in which Wally Lewis played. Noone forced them to play in Sydney, they probably just wanted proper competition.

Players take less money because they don't have a choice, 90% of them are contracted whilst they are still in schoolboys so they can't get out until the Broncos are done with them. They aren't stupid. But they still should have won way more than they did. They also recieve very encouraging third party payments.

You have got to be kidding if you think he is one of the best halfbacks in the comp... He wasn't even the best half in the schoolboys comp that he used to play.

If i had it my way, the three QLD teams would all get the arse, i'd bring back Norths & Newtown, make wests & Balmain seperate entities & all would be right with the world

 

I don't mind them in the comp, but they should have at least 5 teams between the Gold Coast and Brisbane alone. They should have a Central QLD team such as Mackay as well.

I'd **** the Warriors off though... And maybe Manly if it was allowed.:yep
