yeah I got no problem with that....but they gotta bite the bullet and cull a couple of Sydney teams...or relocate them....I don't mind the setup up here in QLD...3 strong teams seems to be workin' alright.

He could be that weight cause he doesnt look anywhere near his best.

How about Haynes torpedo bombs against the Warriors, I think they were the things that won the game for the Eels. Poor Fiiisiati on Debut will be having nightmares about them

Yeah but in all seriousness horse. Broncos should have won way more premierships until Cowboys and Titans came into it... I mean let's face it they had free run over all of the QLD players and they could have anyone. I think the new Queensland team is going in Mackay?

I didn't watch the game but from the replays it certainly was seemingly going Parra's way. Let's just hope we carry this momentum forward and consistently. The new coach is doing well so far. :yep

Warriors will be a good side this year i have no doubt.

Eels look like they have brought Storm structure into their play and it suits them.

damn, im over this GI ****.

this is the last time im mentioning it. He looked fat and slow lol

But thats no suprise, he will gain that speed and fitness in time, But what you should be worried about is clear attitude of "Who gives a ****". he was just jogging around going through the motions, He looked bored out there. His not used to playing around guys who arn't at the elite level, His used to having Origin players around him, as Gus Gould said on the Roast "Greg is not going to be the person to answer souths problems"

You can make excuses all you want but i think after a while you will have enough of him lol, If he starts playing good then great!.....But i can't see how you can just pass off his attitude, You talk about Souths heart etc etc but seem to block out that your new star player showed NO HEART in round 1.

    good luck to souths...:nut

yeah mate...but we still won our fair share:bbb
dunno about the 4th Qld side...CQ have got abit of a push goin' on and so has Ipswich...but if I was a betting man I'd probably say another Brisbane side will get the green light.

Stuart Fielden throws down the gauntlet to Willie Mason - for a boxing match

    from Mirror Sport - 13th March 2011

Stuart Fielden, knocked out by a Willie Mason punch five years ago, has thrown down the gauntlet to Hull KR's new Aussie colossus.

The Wigan hardman is ready for a re-match with Mason - but in the boxing ring not on the pitch!

Fielden was flattened during Great Britain's last win over Australia, in Sydney in 2006, and the bust-up has had almost 600,000 hits on YouTube.

Mason, once voted the most hated player in Australia, makes his Rovers debut against Crusaders at Craven Park today (3pm).

But Fielden, 31, will probably have to wait until next season to tackle Mason on the field, after he was ruled out until July following a third knee operation in five months.

Fielden said: "There's talk about a fight ¦ being organised between us for charity.

"I've heard Willie Mason is keen and it's something I'd like to do too. I fought Hull captain Lee Radford in a boxing match and 4,000 fans turned up to see us raise £77,000 for Steve Prescott's fund.

"After my knee surgery I don't know when it could be arranged, but I'd love to do it again.

"I've played more than 430 games, appeared in 14 finals and won 37 caps - but from all the publicity about the Mason incident some people think that's the only match I've played. It doesn't factor in my mind-set. I've been knocked out several times.

"I've heard him say that I didn't shake hands after the match. I didn't shake hands with anyone because I wasn't with it. The main thing is we won the Test!" Mason, on a two-year contract with Hull KR, said: "Stuart is a goer and I'm sure he wants to square up and play as hard as he can with me. I've never taken a backward step, and I won't here."

Rovers are expecting a 10,000 capacity crowd today and Mason admitted: "Players will want to take my head off, but I'm used to that. As long as I can take it, I'll dish it out as well.

"I'm not here to muck around. I'll be hitting as hard as I can."

Mason hasn't played for five months, but Rovers boss ****** Morgan has no hesitation in picking him. Morgan said: "Willie's larger-than-life - but he's a world-class player."

I think Brisbane should have more than 1 team as well. In terms of ratios they should have at least 4-5 sides between Brisbane and Gold Coast. The population is close to 4.5-5 million. Syndey's is about 5 million and they have 8 teams... It would be good for the game I think.
