The criteria has just been set out by the independant commision, apparently now its a lot clearer, in so much as when you first start playing toyota cup or similar, the same time you become profesional, you fill out a form stating where you were born & where you first played Rugby League etc, Its supposed to be where you played your first senior Rugby League, which is from about 15's?? ( not sure though) No Benji, no kiwis, Origin is pure, they can never change it to include foreigners, it dilutes the whole concept
Uate is a fijian but he played for NSW, there have been others as well. It's massive joke. Same as Chris Heighnington playing fo England
Yep - Hopoate, born in Tonga, played for NSW. T-Rex - played for Tonga in the 2008 world cup, played for Australia in last year's 4 nations.
Grew up in Manly, moved to the west in his teens, came back to play for Manly Cove. Sorry, but no cigar westie boy BTW, when Hoppa did return to his "westie roots" he started sticking his fingers up other player's dates - make what you will of that :yep You can talk about Stewart coming in on Blair as a dog act, but nothing will ever top Baa Lamb telling Hoppa to stick his fingers up other player's ringholes when he played for Wests
Mate he lived in the housos in Claymore for years... He played junior footy for manly though. Seen him in many a fight in the Streets of Campbelltown, one bad dude
He's an idiot His son Will's grown up with a good head on his shoulders cos he's seen his old man act like an idiot for so many years - he just learned to do everything opposite to what his old man does :yep
man i ****ing hated Terry Lamb, ****ing **** headed little ***** we have come so far since our maiden season as Wests Tigers... we had one of the weakest teams i can remember... certainly nothing like the titans in their first year... we had a bunch of players who were past it, never were or not good enough for other first grade teams. Yet, we were second for a large part of the season. Just missed the 8.
Yeah, I remember when you had Terry Hill there too - he was an expensive bench warmer for a while there... :yep
He spent what you blokes paid him buying land on an island up north and got into trouble with the local council cos he bulldozed heaps of trees down without permission when he developed it
Classy fella. I remember him and choc throwing a few during a bulldogs saints clash once, he went alright
