What's your reasoning behind calling the Warriors entry into the Comp a joke? They are allowed to feed the NRL clubs with players but shouldnt be allowed in. Down the track a team from PNG looks like a great idea if they can bring themselves up to a good club standard as a whole.
cant see how png could be a success when the gold coast cant seem to make a go of it.i know mining companys up there are full of cash but are they goin to keep pouring money into a team?
Will never ever happen mate. Aside from the fact that theres serious doubts about whether they could financially sustain a team there on their own, it's also a massive security risk when teams play there. They dont have the adequate security and resources there to play games at an NRL standard.
We also have English players too, doesn't mean we should put a team there. Australian-Raised kiwis generally fill the ranks. It's called the National Rugby League. I don't believe New Zealand is a state, to which they can contest a national comp. In saying that, Australia and New Zealand have always had allegiance of sorts so I'm not too opposed to it. But PNG? PS The game is a good one tonight.
punchy where are ya??? weve got manly on the rack!!! come on you pack of freaks dont give this one away!!
Bout one post up. I'm watching and cringeing cos everytime Hayne gets the ball he looks like he's going to throw his knee out again... He should have stayed out and recovered fully.
If they can fulfill NRLs guidelines i cant see why you guys wouldnt want them in. NRL is a big fish in a little pond and the AFL is a shark.
I think the Eels game is a stinker at the moment. I can see why you would think it's quality :yep Im for Sustainable NRL expansion, its good for the game
No. In all honesty, he'll probably snap his tendon again doing a miracle try or tackle... Geez, listen to Teke trying to sell PNG... Next he'll be harping on about a team from Tonga or from Fiji... No money over there for footy, and I highly doubt the players and staff would want to travel overseas. They whine enough for that round in Perth.
