Im happier than you, He is a game breaker and Im glad he isnt playing against us.... Ive lost count of teh times the little ***** has beaten us when he played for Souths....
Couldn't agree more http://www.triplem.com.au/sydney/sp...arramatta-eels-performance/20120427-g6a2.html
From what I've seen of Parra over thw last 5 weeks, Roberts has been better than Sandow, but thats not saying much. a Roberts and Sandow halves partnership is always going to mean a lot of points leaked. I know what you mean Rusty Nails, theres been times over the years where I wish John Lang selected a witches hat instead of Sandow.
roberts has been poor with the occasional standout moment thrown in but again, thats because hes not getting any direction from sandow. I actually feel sorry for ben. chris goes missing or ****s up the timing on a play and its left to ben to clean up the mess and invariably hes either not expecting the ball or has 3 players in front of him when he gets it. chris is the marquee player, hes supposed to be calling the shots out there but he just drops in and out of games like a yoyo. He missed 9 of 18 tackles against the knights. literally missed every second tackle :-(
Listen to it. Whipsy if Benji or Farrah weren't playing up to scratch you'd want their scalp. Sandow is a ****ing useless **** that got cashed up by stupid misdirection. Kearney earns more than a pat on the back by finally putting that **** where he belongs, out of the NRL. He has been ****ing terrible and not more than 70% of the game I'm shouting at the screen "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING!!!". Roberts is a good player. His partnership with Kimmorley in 09 was ****ing spectacular. Hell even his partnership with Hodkinson was pretty good. But if you have one good half, and a liability in the other you won't go great. I'd love to see how many missed tackles this year Sandow would have, I'd honestly be shocked if it was less than 40. Hope the **** ****s up and we can dump his sorry arse back in Cherbourg, maybe Esi can give him a lift?
He can play, i've watched a lot of games where he has pretty much won it for Souths, i've seen him get a load of man of the match awards etc He was used to playing at Souths, he was pretty much used to the free range style of play, i reckon, even though souths were pretty ****ed a lot of the time they still managed to score a lot of points ( pity they couldnt stop more) & having blokes like Merrit etc around him made him look good too, parra struggle to score points, have for a while now
Sandow can play, the **** is 5 kgs over weight and that coupled with his lazy attitude means some ordinary performances. He deserves to go back to the lower grades to force him to get fit
parra $80366 titans $41200 Penrith $39633 Canberra $5358 fines for salary cap breaches 2011 lol..something wrong there i suspect it may have something to do with second tier breaches
Said it before...like most coaches now, kearney plays sandow and roberts on either side of the ruck. That doesnt suit roberts at all imo because he isnt a first receiver. Id like to see them p,ay side by side on one side of the ruck, atleast for a few plays. Im with gus...god knows why coaches insist on this whole idea of of playing halves and five eights separately, centres as well.
thats why theres no flow in most backlines anymore. the only flowing movement out wide i see these days is from usually from the tigers and broncos. they seem to be the standouts when it comes to probing the line
Melbourne do it beautifully, especially when Slater just chimes in behind a dummy runner & the ball just keeps going deeper & runners just seem to appear...... almost poetic :hey
Sandow has been disgraceful IMO. That is not too harsh a word. How can the forwards be to blame for the **** Sandow comes up with when ALREADY in the oppositions 20 metres. He has been worse than pathetic. Slowly jogging or walking up and then putting a **** kick in or then running backwards lest someone tackles him. I've been blown away by how bad he has been playing in attack when in the oppositions strike zone. That is all. thanks.
At the end of the day the halfback is always going to cop the blame, he's also going to generally get payed more We know Sandow can play, we've all seen his brilliance, maybe the whole Parra squad & coach need to have a bit of a look at themselves But on the bright side for young Chris, he can throw balls over the sideline, miss tackles left, right & centre but at the end of the day he's still going to have all that lovely cabbage
