im glad you posted this, it sums up what i was trying to tell whipsy. I dont care what MG says, parras forwards have been unspectacular but sound. but when they drag chris into the attacking zone he single handedly murders whatever chance they had of scoring or even building pressure. the only stat that comes close to his missed tackles this year would be the number of throwaway kicks hes put through
We must have wathed 7 different rounds of footy for 2012. He is pathetic. How many finals series did Sandow lead you guys to? None? Ok. Top 8? No? Yeah righto well then I think I can honestly say, that halfback is ****ing hopeless. It's fantastic that he can put one good performance in and then 3-4 **** ones. That doesn't cut the mustard as a professional athlete I'm afraid. Add that to his many other faults, he shouldn't be in top tier footy ATM.
yet someone saw fit to give him $550K a season He obviously played well enough last year in a struggling team to attract that kind of money, yeah, sure i thought it was way overpriced but i was pissed off when he left Souths, i thought he's turned the corner & was getting better, but like i said, he felt at home at Souths, he was settled, he knew the players around him & their games So i do see him getting back to something like that maybe, lets see if the Parra coaching staff & the Parra supporters have the patience
Even though he hasn't been good im happy he isn't playing the tigers. He always seems to lift against us. Him and isaac luke are like kryptonite against the tigers
Mate Souths look ****ing awesome tonight. And Taylor and Inglis well what can i say. They have transformed the way they play. Oh and McGuire.
Great first half effort, and still a very good defensive effort despite letting in 16 points in the 2nd half. The Cows liften and were helped by the referee giving them a piggy back into the game. Conceding 8 straight penalties was always going to stretch us. Fortunately we built up a match winning lead by that time. Taylor and GI were great, as was Issac Luke, and Crocker had one of his best for the season. Very glad with the win, and looking forward to a tough one against the Sharkies next Monday. :good
It was refreshing to see how the bunnies scored their first try, very simple run around that produced a try without sweating. I wanna see more run arounds :yep
There have been a few good run arounds that produced tries this year. I think the Storm have a good grasp on the concept. I reckon the Eels might do something against the Tigers today. When the eels are in the attacking zone I want Hayne at second receiver at least twice in the set. When he does that they invariably score. With Sandow out he might get more ball there today. on edit: pls disregard the above
Ben Roberts is frustrating to watch. He has good vision, and has a nose for opportunity, but his execution is woeful.
The noose around Kearney's neck must be tightening. In fact, a complete overhaul of the Parra recruitment and retention committee wouldnt be a bad move. I understand that Kearney is actually on big money. Whoever makes these decisions needs to be held accountable. The rot all started when Anderson was disgracefully sacked, and has since gathered momentum.
