I still wasnt that impressed, the Tigers deserve a massive kick up the coit

they did well to have a go i suppose but it was such a messy last 10, Roberts at one stage threw it to nobody, Tigers should have sucked up 2 or 3 minutes there but parra stole it back, at one stage parra played the ball & there was no dummy half, Brisbane or the Storm would smash you if you did that, there were also a few dubious passes & strips etc that went unnoticed, it was as if the refs were to scared to stop Parras momentum

At the end of the day, the Tigers raped Parra for 65 minutes, better teams will play out 80 minutes & parra didnt deserve to be in it, its fair to say that there were some positive signs to come out of that last period but lets see if they can do it for a whole game

There is always a bigger fish in the sea...the Sharks are apex predators..the Bunnies are bottom feeders.

The shonkies shouldn't even be in the comp, **** them off they're a third world organisation, I reckon they spent a motza to get a few decent players hoping they'd get wins & bums on seats, looks like one out of two ain't enough

I think he's pretty typical of a lot of Islander players who have just got through on physicality their whole life, he's never really hyad to think tactically

I really want to see less interchanges, it would take a lot of the big blokes out unless they get fit & mobile, they'd spend more time on the field & would have to consider the game more tactically , the modern prototype of a forward would be Gallen, mobile, workhorse, plays above his weight & genuine skill with the ball

But there can be more impact from big hard running forwards that only play 20 min at a time, they can give it there all. I'm not opposed by any means, I'm sure there are a lot of fowards that can play 80 min. I think only the Props should be interchanged.

I didn't think the Parramatta game was too bad. Don't get me wrong, they were bad. But at least they didn't give up which is a massive change to their usual attitude. I think they did at least relax alot more by not having the muppet at no. 7. And that all but two of their tries came from offloads. A few more games might see some consistent solid games.

i agree. the emphasis on power over stamina is not good for the sport imo. i miss seeing games turn into a battle of attrition.

thats right, i have ennduring memories of players like Ray Price, absolute warhorses, & there were lots of them, games were tight & opened up for the smaller men to be more creative, i think the games getting too predictable, i also think if players were more fatigued they'd soon cut out a lot of the wrestling

I'd love to see the return of the 80 minute forward, to see forwards, particularly props wear that full game as a badge of honour, i'm not proposing cutting out all of the interchanges, just cut out two would be a good start

Just cut all interchanges in half. That would make them more creative.
