I hope youre right but I think he's gone, and signing of Teo, even though he can play in the front row is to cover his loss.

I've read the same reports that suggest he wants to stay, but my gut feeling is that it's media shannanigans looking for something to print for a slow day.

DT will be on NRL on Fox tonight. I guess we'll know more after that.

yeah, you'd assume that its a straight cover for Taylor but it would be nice to have them both, i think we can accomadate both given that Asotasi is just about ****ed & should retire, same as Geddes & i could lose Pettybourne easily enough, Crocker cant have to much left in the tank either

But as you said there might be a few revelations tonight

Disagree. Barring unforseen injury, teo is a better gain. Souths will get more out of him than what they got out of taylor.

    Teo is a gun.

From a fans point of view, it'd be great for Asotasi to go as he will have played 14 games in the last 2 years and is on big money. But that can only happen if he chooses to want out of his contract, and from what I hear, he is on a back ended deal too. Richardson has too much man love for him to try and give him the hint that he's done.

Yeah, Pettybourne can **** off, and so can Mich Crocker. Crocker has been a great leader but is clearly on old legs, and him going would free up 300K.

Gedded is on small money, and add to that he comes under the 8 year servant rule, meaning we get an 100K exemption on his contract. He could very well be playing for 0 or at most 40K cap money, so for that reason alone, I'd keep him. Plus, he's been very good this year and playing injured too.

Only the club knows how much we can afford to throw at Dave. Many of our fans are saying we need to buy 2 props, but I reckon George Burgess is being groomed to play there next season, and Aereati and Starling should be able to provide adequate cover if need be.

I still say our main priority is to get a seasoned and classy 5/8. If that happens, then I can live with letting Dave go.

He'd probably come back to Souths & brain teams like he did at times last year, that would really confuse Kearney & the Parra faithfull :yep

Having said that i'm happy with the way Reynolds is going

You seen Keary in the NYC?
He looks very very good. I think he'll be far better than Reynolds, but he is still only young and learning. Probably another 2 years away from getting a sniff at first grade.

Teo is good but Taylor is alot better, alot lot better. That being said, Titans will **** his career something terrible.

I've seen most of the NYC games, he looks mature & seems to stand out although its a bit hard to tell in NYC given they are all so schitzo, would have a better idea when he starts getting a run for Norths in a year or two

Agree to disagree. Id have teo any day of the week...he is worth the 400k a season souths are paying him.

Apparently no guarantee taylor is goin to the goldy, he is definitely leaving souths though.

I doubt he's on 400K a season. I know that was a figure Matty Johns mentioned last night, but it seems a bit high, just as the 500K figure for T Rex did.

Taylor will either be at Gold Coast or Souths. Souths can counter offer his deal with the Gold Coast before round 13, otherwise he has to sign with the Gold Coast and cant talk to any other side.

Taylor is head and shoulders above Teo

Teo is a good defender and runs the ball well... Taylor does that but it harder to stop, has ball skills like a half back and can lift his team with his play style. Any team with him in the forwards is going to do major damage
