- qld can methodically and clinically put on plays to expose nsw and result in tries. We cant. We tend to ad lib it more....asking a jennings or a hayne to create something from nothing. That gors back to the halves a bit but generally...we need to get our attack up to scratch where we punch at the line more consistently. Until then...it'l be close but no cigar.

 

It does mean more to them. Its called an inferiority complex and rightly so. They are the inferior state and think that by winning a state of origin series it somehow puts them on par with us. :nut

 

And how would you feel being a parra, ncstle or penrith fan/ coach/ administrator....

Seeing hayne, boyd and jennings rip in all night and have big games when all three have been big money cats for their clubs all year.

I lol when i read stuff on hayne like "trying to unlock the mystery to the kid". Its no mystery....the kid is a spoilt brat who doesnt apply himself to the challenge of playing week in week out at club level. Jennings same.

 

Carney played very poor..but deserves another go, showed some great attacking flair and a strong passing game, just not enough.

I wouldn't change the team to much for game II...We weren't outplayed or out Origin'ed, but QLD did what QLD do, find a way to win...plus clearly influence the refereeing.

 

Sad thing is that Qld didnt play too well.

If any team is going to learn from last night it will be the Maroons and I have a strong feeling this year they will clean sweep it.

 

I was born and raised down there and I can tell you that it is a spiritually uplifting experience as soon as I step foot back on the northern side of the border. Tweed = ****, Coolangatta = Gods Country.

Buher coming in as playmaker at dummy half killed our momentum, Stuart realised this pretty quickly and got Farah back on there.
