http://www.theroar.com.au/2010/06/29/st-george-slippery-and-the-skull/ According to this he was banned for being racist. The jumping the fence and tackling a player must be just an urban myth. Him and that Souths supporter with long grey hair and tatts giving the finger to the Roosters fans when they won at the death probably did time together.
yay im home lol. Jersey soaked. hands and feet cold and my face is freezing, Check out the tape, look at bay 34, out from under the cover, There you will see an idiot getting the flu to watch yet another loss. Only me and a hand full of others were there But thats ok, ill be back there next week to support them again. TIGERS CAN HAVE BRAITH NOWWWWW
What can i say mate... I love my team. Live by the sword and die by it. I aint one of those fans that started to flood out the gates with 3mins left, i sat there in the rain till the dieing end.....that may have been cos my legs were forzen solid...but none the less i will support them till the end of the year.
I also watched it to the very end. Good stuff man.:good As you know, I know all too well how you feel. I remember mum and I drove from Port Macquarie (when I was young and still lived at home) to what was then called Marathon stadium to watch Souths play the Knights. We got hammered 60-0 and I think the car broke down on the way home. :-( Awful awful weekend.
Yeh it took 40mins to get onto the road after the game...it would have felt like forever but time flew once i just sat back an thought about why the Tigers would buy Braith.
Parking is a real **** at the SFS. Luckily, I used to live a 5 minute walk from there so we always walked there. I didnt and still dont have a car anyway, but thats another matter. Eels and Souths next week, and I've got a horrible feeling about this game.
Looked perfectly fair to me. :yep In all honesty, the run was legitimate, what was wrong though was that the ref yelled out (get off him) as in to play the ball. The guy actually wasnt tackled, but the ref yelled that anyway. I can see why the scum would have blew up, but can also see why the player ran as he wasnt tackled. It matters little though as the Roosters got a try they shouldnt have when they dropped the ball over the line byut Cecchin never went to the video. How he got picked for origin is beyond me.
He was at Kogarah for dragons tigers this year, lasted bout 5min into game before he was "asked"to leave....think he refers to himself as a nationalist not nazi
The skull lived a few streets away from me. Saw him regularly, always dressed in faded saints jersey, dirty denim jeans, black boots.
I saw him at Town Hall once around 6am. He was walking towards the QVB where there were a bunch of asian tourists taking photos etc. I waited in anticipation to see what was going to happen but he just seemed to walk straight past them and did nothing. I've never actually seen him at a Souths/Dragons game because I usually sit away from the red V army, but I notice theres a strong contingent of middle eastern and Greek Dragon fans. Do they just cop it from him? Has anyone actually gone up to him and given it to him?
