Despite the scoreline today, there was a middle period where you actually looked half decent. The problem, imo, is that you were throwing the ball around way too much, and should have played more conservative.

Dogs were brilliant today, and Barba's an absolute freak. Thats not the first time he's set up a try like that, and I doubt it'll be his last.

I reckon Queensland are probably better off with him as fullback instead of GI, seeing how GI can still be great on the inside at rep level. Only downside to Barba at fullback is that he's vulnerable under the high ball.

It matters not though, as Slater will probably play.

I think the Roosters are taking a huge risk. What is the point in a 1 year deal after SBW has played Rugby. His going to come back to the NRL with no pre-season under his belt and either tired or undercooked.

 

Anyone read this story about Brett Stewart. I feel a bit sorry for the bloke now.
