Not like that WWE/TNA ****. Its still pre-determined but in Japan Pro-wrestling is not treated like a circus act or a 'show'. MMA in Japan was born from pro-wrestling.

They dont have the wacky storylines and all that BS. Also its a harder hitting brand of pro-wrestling. A lot more physical.

I got into it from just reading wrestling magazines and seeing pictures of Japanese wrestling. Started to read up on some of the wrestlers and then found some tape traders online. Got some tapes and after watching it I thought 'why the **** does this look so much more real and more serious than WWE/WCW'? After that I stopped watching that American ****.

:lol:Florimo was a good player and its good to see your Bears colours shining through but I will say they are both on the same level. Totally different players but still good

Argh the mighty Phil Blake and Scotty Gale, king of the chip n chase and the other is one of the quickest players over a short distance.

Id put Mundine over both them to be honest...just over them. These are the types of players that crowds come to see. We need more of them

choc just was'nt a total team man or player at 5/8 , could'nt push a side up and down a park . he was a great individual attacker but his right side defence , well lets just say tackling forwards running wide was'nt his cuppa tea.

Seriously though, I've had this argument with a mate of mine who was a Mundine nuthugger - Florimo was a better all round 5/8th than Mundine ever was.

Florimo had many of the intangible qualities that Mundine lacked - clubmanship, loyalty, leadership etc.

Mundine had a bit of flash, like a touch footy player, but like Sterlo said (to his face) on the Footy Show when he switched over to boxing (in response to Mundine's claims that he was a better 5/8th than Fittler and Daley) - week in, week out, Mundine simply wasn't consistent enough at the position to force Daley and Fittler out of the SOO and Test sides.

The blown try vs Melbourne in the '99 GF is testament to what Mundine was all about on the footy field.

Will have to politely disagree and change topics.

Who is Manly going to drop when the full strength side is back...God I hope it isnt young Hoppa. The fend on Jnr Sau represents just the beginning of this young mans career :yep

TBH, I think sidelining/dropping Will for a few games will do him no harm and will only make him hungrier - a few games back in the Toyota Cup will give him time to reflect and consolidate on his experience thus far in first grade.

If he and Manly have an understanding that he is in their longterm plans, then he'll be okay with that I reckon.

Dessie knows how to blood the young blokes and keep them keen.
