That's not the best way to do it. Otherwise Sterlo was QLD half back during the majority of the 80s. Where you're born has no definitive bearing on what you consider yourself. I agree that the rules need to be cleared, but having it strictly on where you were born doesn't work.

Williams took a running start and hit Mark O'Neill from behind in one of the most cowardly acts ever seen... Tate's was bad but no worse than one of the 100 incidents Bird has committed over the years. Williams was a dirty **** and could have killed O'Neill. Tate's was a love tap in comparison.

 

Surely it's gotta be close to Hodges last series, he along with Dane Neilson did nothing. Neilson has no offensive prowess at SOO level.

I think Girds said it best the other night on the footy show.

It should be were you play your Junior Footy from the age of 8 to 16 and if you played 6 of those years in QLD and 2 in NSW cause you family moved. You represent QLD. But i feel the rule should be you need to have played at least 5 years junior footy in that state.

This Kiwi **** needs to stop. I am all for that.

But having said that if cause if anyone been to Brisbane lately its more like Auckland lol if the kids was born in NZ but has 5 years of Junior Footy in QLD he can play for QLD.

5 years is the minimum I feel.

As his Quote was you get your Passion for State of Origin as a Kid growing up playing Junior footy wanting be the next Inglis or Gallen.

I think its brilliant.
