Every rookie nowadays has a standout first year then goes in their shell for a few seasons... He is a ****ing good player... Him and Josh Reynolds are playing standout football this year. :deal

 

Since round 1, Souths have only lost to a team outside the 8 once and that was to the Warriors in NZ (which is one of the hardest away fixtures in the NRL). For mine, all this has come from a structured tactical style of play. Theres still a lot of off the cuff style in our games, but only really when they can afford to, or when it's needed.

I ****ing love McGuire too. Every time he meets the press, he gives them absolutely **** all and just says that theres room for improvement.

 

Yeah, I love when coaches absolutely rev their players during press meetings. I remember Dan Anderson roasted Hayne in 2010 about not playing as well as he should... Next round he played much better.

 

Souths were good today. That shoulder shot from Sam burgess was brutal.

The knights were terrible at the ruck. Issac Luke had it way to easy from dummy half.

I think the comp is still pretty open. Storm, Rabbits, Manly, Bulldogs look like the main 4 but I still think if the warriors can slip into the top 8 they will be dangerous. I know there away form is really patchy but in the play offs with that forward pack the warriors would be dangerous for anyone. Maloney, Johnson and Hurrall are top quality strike players. They go to Suncorp next week and they are on the road for the majority of the rest of the season so if they can do enough to make the top 8 I think they will be dark horses.

Is it worth it for the roosters? His super talented but not sure his gonna have the impact they want in 1 year.

 

FSN are saying that Lewis and the panthers will part ways at the end of the season. Would be a great pick up for any club. Parra should make a move for him. No better way to replace Hindy and at this stage in their careers, Lewis offers much more.

 

Yeah they should but will most likely throw 500K at an out of form muppet.

Luke Lewis at Parra would complete me.

the bunnies knights scoreline doesnt indicate how well both teams played today. the knights looked very good in patches and mason was in everything. bunnies are getting their game face on now. burgess hit was a ripper.

 

the Knightmares looked **** & Souths didnt look as good as they should, they blew about six tries, they should have put 60 on that useless rabble

Season means nothing unless we get a win over those feathered ****ers this weekend , biggest game of the year.

 

I thought we went well mate. Dominated on the forwards and created enough chances to post 50. Sure we blew a few but we created them nonetheless and on another day they'll stick.

 

Disagree mate. The tide has turned and this game is the scums grand final. They've been advertising it on foxtel for weeks.

WOuld love to have Lewis fill in for the departing Gareth Ellis... probably worth similar money to be fair... Ellis is worth 350k id think and is the best British forward in the world
