Good momentum off the 1 win in a row?

Disagree about the Dogs having momentum. They beat a Roosters side who havent been able to put 2 good games together all season, before that they got beat by 30 to the Raiders, and before that they got beat by the Tigers (they won by one, but the Tigers were robbed).

Souths are 1/2 against the Dogs this season, and if it wasnt for a great try saving tackle by Barba, we'd be 2/2. Manly on the other hand are playing great first half football but are dying in the arse in the 2nd half. So many times this season they've been outscored, often by a lot, in the 2nd half.

Both will be a hard task, but if I had to choose, I'd rather play the Dogs in the semi.

Yeah but Raiders don't count. They beat everyone at home.

Do you see Manly trumping the Dogs?

i hope youre right. the dogs have some mongrel in them.

manly a real big game team. the occasion and the grudge match should bring the best out of both sides. i'll go with many also. they are a tight unit who have played together for a good while, and arent too old yet. they only have about 2 years of this team sticking together left. lets hope they make the most of it.

Very hard game to pick. Although manly's 2nd halves have been poor, it's never cost them a game and they have stepped up when they've needed to.

its a hard one to pick. hasler has put all his efforts into manly. he knows their weaknesses and strengths. he'll play to their weaknesses, and deny their strengths.

but. he isnt on the field. the dogs have to be able to stick to a game plan. they seem to be capable, but in a big game like this, experience is a huge factor. manly have it. the dogs dont. the dogs arewell coached, but that can fall apart under extreme preasure. if the dogs get ahead, they will gain confidence and be mentally harder to beat.

if manly can get ahead and put doubts into the dogs heads, many win by a street.

the 1st 20 minutes is crucial in this game i recon. the first to blink loses.

jeez there were some good tries this round. the doggies are the new warriors with the razzle dazzle they show these days. even the eels scored a corker.
