I think the cows will bow out next week. Even without Lyon, manly play anstyle that's more suited to finals football and while the cows have looked flashy, they don't play a style that'll get you far in September. No team has stood out yet in week 1. Dogs made a lot of errors and didn't really look like a no1 team, and souths played the game into melbournes hands which made them ok great. A disciplined team with go forward will grind Melbourne out. Melbournes defense was pretty good though though. All the top 4 teams have a fair bit of improvement in them. I'm thinking it'll be a manly/dogs final and manly for mine seem to have more improvement in them.
I can't talk being a tigers fan, and I'm no Souths supporter, but this is my thoughts exactly. Roosters have no air of tradition. None.
Was a good game to watch. Given momentum, Canberra look great. I thought the sharks battled gallantly under the circumstances. Probably just ran out of juice in the end and allowed Canberra to get the momentum back.
Rabbits have got to be quite confident about next weekends match. I expect them to turn up and play finals footy
I.was at the raiders v sharks game this afternoon and with a strong 25000 crowd the atmosphere was great. The refs were **** as per the norm and Gallan was bitching and moaning for a good 60% of the game. My old man has a gadget so he can listen to the refs frequency and at one point Gal said "if they tackle me like that again I'm gonna smash them and theses nothing you'll be able to do" :rofl I dont think we'll get past souffs next week but happy we made it this far :good

Sam Williams stood up for a young replacement. You should have heard the crowd when Carney was taken off
the better team probably won but the reffing was a disgrace both ways in the sharks raiders game. absolutely shocking
Dave told me that Ricky Stuart has got the Eels training right up to Grand Final day. They had one week rest then 3 weeks training then their offseason can start :admin Even though it wont be hard to improve on this year, I think the Eels culture change has just started in a very big way.
what about the kicking game of that raiders halfback?? havent seen jack **** of the raiders this year so i dont know if he just pulled a few rabbits out of the hat but if not the kid is a freak.
