the bunnies were gallant but at the end of the day they are a good example of that old adage being a team of champions do not a champion team make.
belief was what seperated those sides tonight. the doggies truly believe they are the best team in the comp.

 

Possibly but Reynolds disappearing had alot to do with it.

He will be welcomed Home at the Mighty Titans.

He will kick ball strangler Harro out of the right side and now Dave might get some ball. Taylor has played solid throughout the whole season, when u stick dominant forwards out on the edges you have to use them, Bird doesnt get used enough in the Titans, Gallen gets used alot, Hoffman gets used well etc etc

Yeah, it was exciting while it lasted, but they just didn't have the mettle to battle through that setback. All said, very happy with the season, and with a bit of successful tweaking, we can go alright again next season.:good

 

Last year I'd agree with being dubbed that title, but not this year.
McGuire has utilized them more proficiently than Lang ever did, and they rarely rely on individual brilliance to get home. The dogs just had too much star power and creativity.

Reynolds going down was the worst thing that could have happened. Any other positional injury, and I'd say that we had the bench players to provide some sort of cover, except halfback.

Not saying we would have won if it didn't happen. Still probably would have lost, as they kept hurting us out wide with ease.

On a lighter note , Teke jumping on aboard Souths did'nt help . In the '' hope we have some good karma stakes '' it was like a 58 kg topweight in a melbourne cup being imposted with a extra 10 kg.
