You mention this **** week in week out like it's simply a toss of a coin thing to dominate in, and not because its the result of one team doing rugby league better than the other.atsch Canberra have a big pack because they built their squad around a big pack. Canberra had more ball because they outplayed you in the basics, etc thus earning themselves more possession of the football. Canberra had a better completion rate because they were less ******ed than the scum were on game day. Canberra won the penalty count because they played within the rules of the game more than the scum, something the scum rarely get over their opposition due to their thuggery tactics that are outdated in todays game. atsch
they looked good in the 2nd half. That Taylor guy just seems out of place there though. Doesn't seem to hit the ball up with that typical Warriors vigour, and seems to disrupt their momentum. Good for me though.:good
Perhaps you should read my earlyer post where i say that they outplayed us in the second half, im just saying that im not too disapointed in the loss.
Souths win first 5 games of the season. They haven't done that since 1971 when they last won the comp. Pecks and the choad are excited.
According to a few sources, Liam Fulton and Timid Tim are out happy) for the Wests Tigers. Tedesco will apparently start at fullback and Matt Bell at lock. Possible debut for a NSW cup or u/20 player on the wing tonight. Tigers are probably still going to get ****ed with no **** but at least Potter is giving the younger players a chance.
what a game weve got ourselves next week. would have to be the biggest regular season game I can remember off hand
I'm expecting a loss, although Melbourne aren't quite in top gear. I didn't see tonight's game but Briabane were able to create holes in their D the week before. From what I read, the Tigers gave a good fist of it tonight against them also. If we win one out of our next two, I'll b happy. I'm thinking the Melbourne game will be easier than Manly at Brookie the following week.
i think both teams are coasting and playing to the level of their opposition. to be honest i don't think souths have gotten out of third gear yet. either way im expecting fireworks, it should be a kracker.
What I've noticed with souths, especially in the last two weeks, is that they seem more enterprising and are playing smarter footy. They played like they had to score right up until the last two minutes the other day, and the players just seem that 10% more smarter when it comes to decision making. There's still defensive problems there, but overall I think we'll go better (performance wise) than last season. That may or may not result in us going further, as other factors come into play later on, but I think we're poised nicely.
Tigers looked pretty good last night, our gameplan killed us though.. was obvious whenever Melbourne got into Wests 20 that the tigers plan was to slow them down and were constantly penalised as a result, lucky not to get a bloke put in the bin I reckon
