*OFFICIAL* Bernabe KO's Juan Ma Thread

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BadassBenavidez, Jul 9, 2010.

  1. Get on the bandwagon...Juan Ma's ascendency to greatness is about to come to a halt Sat. night in brutal fashion.

I'm not sold on JML. I think for all intents and purposes he's a scared ***** as is evidenced in him ducking Pelenchin. That doesn't bode well for him in taking on another guy who is going to be right there in front of him trying to knock his head off. I look at it like this: if Mtagwa can get Juan Ma into a war, there is no doubt in my mind that Bernabe can do so also. I think Bernabe has much better 1 punch KO power than Juan and all it takes is one shot to change a fight around.

Even though I thought Bernabe looked uncomfortable facing southpaw Luevano, I think he'll look better against Lopez. This fight may be in Puerto Rico, and the ref might be Puerto Rican, but all that's going to be left is Juan Ma's Puerto Rican family crying ringside when Bernabe puts him down for the count.

No chance, two fights vs south paws with less pop.Concepcion has had probs getting off and landing.Juan Ma can end it any time he feels like it.Key punches:counter right hook by JUAN MA on the back foot or left upper down the middle when Concepcion leans in.Or maybe accumulation of punches when B.C is on the ropes.Won't go the distance J.M. LO is too strong.

    TKO 5-7

I wouldn't mind seeing it just for the **** of it.

  5. I just think JML has looked sloppy in his last 3-4 fights. I was not impressed in the Pennalosa fight nor Lontchi fight and I def. was not impressed in the Mtagwa fight. He even looked sloppy in defeating Luevano. I thought his balance and footwork were pretty average in that fight. I just think Bernabe is a very live underdog in this fight and I think he can weather any storm that JML brings. This could very well come down to conditioning and I'm not convinced JML can go a full hard 12 rounds with Bernabe.

Noticeably last few fights of Lopez was a bit low. Concepcion could be a tough fight for him but I believe Juanma could adjust the style Bernabe, A UD victory for Lopez.

Since I believed Concepcion's chance of winning is most likely by stopping JuanMa then I'm on this bus.
