Yeah the rules are ****in stupid on the forum sometimes, swear words are let thru sometimes but not all. Which makes no sense anyways because when everybody signed up pretty sure they gave there age and it wasn’t 6. Also some mods on here ban people based on there opinion as if because someone has a different point of view there a troll. You basically gotta suck the mods off on here or they ban you for stupid ****

Derevyanchenko will stop Jacobs mid to late. He's defensively responsible, gets on the inside with relative ease, and does well there, lands fast accurate compact combinations, he cuts off the ring well, doesn't have the most predictable rhythm, is deceptively heavy handed. Which is why he'll end up tagging Danny with something he never sees coming. He doesn't fight like GGG or Pirog, but almost like a weird hybrid of the two, he could prove to be a stylistic nightmare for Jacobs..

Jacobs wins. I feel like Rozier knows Derevyanchenko too well. It's really a shame, I don't want to see this fight.

Jacobs has sparred with him dozens of times. If he couldn't handle him, they wouldn't have taken the fight and would have waited for Saunders or Charlo instead. I think that's the interesting factor here.

The plan against Derevyanchenko is quite simple: fight off the backfoot, be methodical, calm and disciplined. The execution of that plan in a real fight could be quite difficult, though.

He is good. But he's limited in some aspects, as well... Thanks to Golovkin's decision to dodge him, Derevyanchenko is a little bit overrated in the eyes of boxing fans, I would say...
In my opinion Derevyanchenko would have very little chance in a fight against Golovkin (though he'd give him a lot of problems) but he can beat Jacobs. That's quite realistic, but not easy, obviously.

Derevyanchenko is also a very controversial fighter. In a sense that there are very opposite opinions of him. For example, Bivol's trainer, Gennady Mashianov (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DTR_wcpXUAADITz.jpg), who is, by the way, a very good trainer and also a very tough (should I say even rough, lol) and straight-talking dude in one of the interviews said that Derevyanchenko's almost as good as Alvarez, even better...

I don't think SD is overrated at all, other than the standard knock that he hasn't yet faced elite competition. He has incredible fundamentals, He has a super-high output yet is very careful & controlled. He throws a ton, with both hands & also to the body, yet he ALWAYS keeps his head back & protected.

Good power, too, but not on Golovkin's level. He’s more of an accumulation puncher. - And that's why I think Jacobs can win this on points:

Jacobs is very athletic, and seems to have a solid chin. He has a high output just like SD, and VERY respectable power. SD is responsible enough not to go head-hunting, so it will be a tactical battle, and Jacobs is very, very good. Jacobs also has the edge in high-level experience.

Who says Saunders or Charlo would give him the fight?
Let's face it, Jacobs has little leverage at 160 and he needs a belt for the top guys to face him.

It's clear to me he made a decision to stay at 160 for another big payday and GGG, Canelo or Saunders won't even consider facing him unless he has a belt.

He kind of has to take this fight.

Fair point, and one that moves it slightly in Jacobs favour for me too.

However, Jacobs is on record saying very complimentary things about Derevyanchenko, so clearly their sparring is not one-sided, e.g.:

“I do know that Sergiy has that grit, and he has skill beyond belief. He’s a really talented guy. I don’t know who would win that fight [Golovkin], even though I’ve been in there with both guys. May the best man win if it were to happen.”
