Don't forget that Guinn has excellent defense and from memory has never even been down. He is a hard fighter to look good against, Boytsov just overworked him, winning every round.

Watch the fight against Bydenko (a pretty good opponent at the time), especially the 6th round, you will see that Boytsov can definitely be explosive.

Fury looked fantastic against Maddalone, but for example against Pajkic he still got very sloppy. He can't afford to do that with Boytsov who has huge power, doubt he would be able to recover from his punches.
