And what if Joshua doesn't fight the winner?

Breazeale actually fought Joshua, Mansour, Ugonoh and Eric Molina. He has been sidelined by the WBC and their BS.
But in reality, Breazeale is one of the few has done something at all. He has stepped up multiple times.
Everyone else has been sitting idle.

Definitely not PPV worthy, but this is supposedly for a shot at the WBC belt. Makes sense for Whyte to take it.

That's a massive IF but sure is a possibility. I think Dillian fancies himself a business man as much as a fighter. Being world champ is clearly not THE most important thing to him, i think getting the right deal is. He continues to back himself in the ring for the long game and he is young. Worst case AJ and Fury freeze him out for a bit but he is so high in all the rankings. hypothetically, in the meantime, he could fight a potentially defeated Wilder (with no belt on the line) for another decent ppv.

Then you'd have to assume that either Wilder and Fury will fight again or that the winner wants an easy fight before a Joshua unification. Neither would take a Whyte fight before they fight Joshua, too dangerous to risk that payday.

Breazeale is a terrible fighter I don't understand why some fools overrate him. He was literally just a punchbag against a weakened Joshua who had Glandular Fever, Joshua at 100% would have probably KO'd him in 2 rounds.

This is what I had written a few days ago

This was the best fight for Whyte. I just wonder what kind of money they offered Breazeale to make him give up his mandatory status and take this risky fight.

He's not on Joshua's level, but he's not terrible. The bodybuilder KOed Povetkin, Whyte, and Brezeale in just 7 rounds. He won't be a easy fight for Whyte. Dillian got put down by Parker, the titty master Breazeale more than capable of doing the same.

Why is Breazeale rated so high? Usyk would beat Breazeale easily.

Who would win a titty-off between Povetkin, Miller, Ortiz and Breazeale?

I don`t think Whyte believes the winner of Fury v Wilder will fight AJ.

I haven’t been keeping track with the wbc mando situation, with Fury seemingly being the mando. It’s all a bit messy with regard to Breazeale and Whyte.

Whyte is a knucklehead for not taking the AJ, but this is his best move after that.
