If we were choosing from the asian region you would be my first and ONLY choice at this stage. I think would be a good addition to the commitee also, as from talking to you it appears you have a better knowledge of the lower weight classes then most here. I hope that there ends up being some diversity, as that is what will really make this rankings system unique.

Sweet Pea is definitley knowledgable and would be a great addition. Lance just believes whatever he's fed, he knows nothing.

    Oh well.

No, I voted for Sweet Pea and Lance_Uppercut. Considering blokes like you, Brookln, Sues, Erractic etc... are already shoe ins, no point in really "wasting" votes now, so I wanted to give votes to blokes that hadn't had many, but were still very (very) good posters nonetheless. Scar popped into my head a little bit too late. Just thought I'd name drop :D

And if it's a monthly ranking, maybe the sooner the better. Those that miss out, will surely get future runs.

Thats why I suggested regional selection, because it ensures you get a greater knowledge in some areas, that some of us simply will not have. I download fights, however VERY rarely will you find regional broadcasts on international websites. Hopefully, the commitee can gain some posters who have more specialized knowledge once the commitee is up and running.

thanks mate. but i know don't belong in the group just yet. i'm not half as good as those being mentioned here. in a few months time, i think i'll be ready. and to those who will make it, if you need any assistance for the rankings in the lighter weights, i'd be glad to be of any help.

i'll be flying in to cebu city in the to watch the WBO minimumweight championship between nietes of the philippines and kratingdaenggym of thailand. this is for the title that was vacated by ivan calderon, the only minimumweight contender you may recognize. i'll keep you guys posted. and again, i hope this little project of ours become successful:good

Your knowledge of the lighter weights would definitely be useful.

I think Joe would beat Wright for sure, but I don't agree with you about Calzaghe being Wright's born nightmare for reasons of tempo. What interests me most about Cal is the speed he fights at and how it can be affected. I've always postulated that it would be really difficult to make Joe fight to slow but he might be vulnerable to being made to fight to fast - or overly aggressive - I wonder if Wright could slow him down? If he did he would have a chance.

I would be laying money on Joe Calzaghe in that one though, but I think you underestimate Wright's chances (Very much in keeping with your idiom, of course :yep )
