Jacobs looks really mature but I get the vibe he's taking this round off. Not throwing a lot, being real choosy with his punches and not choosing to go all out. Walker is tough and gamesy and really REALLY worked hard that round. Walker's corner says he needs to throw more flurries.

Jacobs is young, he could get a bit stronger, his power is average. But very intelligent, great punch variety, very composed in the ring. He definitely has a future

 

He shouldnt get any special treatment for someone whose been convicted of the same crime if Kirkland's convicted just because hes a boxer.

WAlker is coming in head first and I smell a clash coming in a minute or two. Mike trying to muscle Jacobs again but Jacobs is using his jab to make some distance. Walker lands a NICE right hand but Jacobs weathers it. Mike Walker earns some brownie points for his tremendous chin and gusto. Jacobs begining to fight with his hands down and walking around. Steward says he's insanely impressed with Jacobs whose beginning to make adjustments in a fight and took on a tough tough opponent on short notice. Walker is holding now and Iget the feeling both guys may be a bit gassed. Jacobs and Walker land simultaniously and Jacobs demands Walker to come in more.

Walker comes forward because that's all he knows how to do. Jacobs lands a NASTY straight right and Walker sticks his tongue out and laughs. Can we have more of Mike Walker on HBO? He's hilarious.

7-1 win for Danny Jacobs in my eyes. SCARY how good he was considering that Walker is a tough opponent on a weeks notice.

Jacobs has really good power. Walker has never been KO'd and has some ridiculous sort of chin.

Walker took 85 punches to the chin. Jesus.

 

Never heard/seen of who Soto's fighting. Majority of his wins coming by decision - only 33% KO%. I don't think he'll be a match for Soto.

 

Great skills! You can count me as Jacobs fan. Of Course, I know his level. I am not going to say he will be the next P4P king. But the kid is pretty good fighter
