Really tough to have a +1602 pick blow up in your face dude.
Last night Cruz -2000 and Eyubov -10000 **** the bed and generally this year has been very good with dogs in boxing.

Not big on Mendoza by any means, but I can't see how he could blow up in our faces. Looks like he should be +400 or less there, not +1600.

You're right, a longshot can't really blow up in your face. If Mendoa is +2000, you only need to win 5% of the time. But I don't see him winning this fight any better than that. He should be this big of a dog. Go watch his fights and look at his record. Mendoza is 1-9 in his last ten fights and the win came against a 4-5 fighter. He is slow and his technique is sloppy as hell. I watched his opponent; he's looks to be competent and that's all you need to beat Mendoza.

But hey, I hope for all you guys who bet him he wins and I'm completely wrong. But I can't back Mendoza, even at these odds.

The line movement on Iwasa/Juarez was very telling. From something like a +550 dog to a +175 dog come fight night. I've seen fights even up more but I think it's telling in regards to Iwasa's frailty and general vulnerability.

Very true. I'm going to throw some down on Juarez at +480 by KO. If he doesn't stop Iwasa, I don't think he is beating him by decision.

Yeah, my feeling on this fight as well.

I'm really glad this thread has taken off. I was a fairly big time gambler several years ago and would have loved something like this back then. I tried multiple times to start a betting thread but they were always mysteriously deleted...

    I have 2 units on Redkach/Harris u4.5 +100.

Harris is too small. Naturally two weight classes below Redkach, was KOd at 130 and 135 and i doubt he gonna make it here. Redkach is also awkward, not easy to deal with him.

I wonder the same thing if they are cool with all the gambling talk. I am a hardcore fan of boxing but I love to find value on fighters.

I feel accomplished as **** when I make a good pick, stick to my guns and make some money out of it. It's the same thing as intelligently investing in anything, really.

I have the odd bet on boxing but nothing to write home about, last big win was chucking £50 on draw between fury wilder at 25's.

But this is a great read and I take my hat off to some of you for using your knowledge to make money. Keep it going gents

I think it should be fine, as long as we don't take it out of this thread.

set up on red zone sports. Only starting with £10 which is low but don’t want to gamble too much to begin with, getting used to the way the odds are as Im used to odds being like 2/1 whereas now it’s 2.00 or summat

Overall +5.66u but damn it feels like a loss.

Both Eyubov and Kevin Cruz go to distance as -10000 and -2000 favs and draw against two journeymen.
Licona gets KOed in r12 after dominating the fight as some said.
Juarez losses a twisty technical decision after everyone on twitter had him dominating.
Molina gets shameful scorecards in a fight where 96-94 Fig was the most extreme case in my opinion.

The only bad play felt to be Hernandez. Eh, we go ahead.

    2.2u Omar Douglas DNB +850
Selby going up two weight classes is mad. He wasn't a huge 126er, he probably walks around 135. Now he fights at 135? Makes zero sense. Douglas will be at least 5 pounds heavier and he hits hard. His best shot is the left hook that Selby ate from Warrington and got hurt a few times. Also the only shot that put him down in his career, from Hunter, a way lesser puncher than Douglas.
Selby's brother Andrew has been chinned several times and I think this runs in the family. Maybe that's why he has literally fought no one with power yet?
I think in a non-UK venue Douglas should be evens, even wtih the judging aspect I'm willing to bet my chances.

2.5u Ricky Summers DNB +124 - price still drifting, may have missed this one.
Summers fought way better opposition and gave Buglioni a tough fight, while Sterling almost lost to Adam Jones and fought no-ones.
I think Summers should be a small fav here.
