Navarette now into 6/5 at my book, got the value now lets hope he wins. 09:52 6/5 09:22 6/4 09:12 9/4
What do we got this weekend fellas? I'm liking Korobov, Williams (taking a flyer here), and Navarrette.
If anyone wants a pretty soft/easy bet to tail, Petrov is available at -270 to stop Ruben Tamayo tonight. Ruben used to fight at featherweight and has for some reason decided jumping up a few weight classes to lightweight is a good idea *Spoiler* It isn't. He's been stopped on bodyshots a few times in a row and that's the grinding & very physical Petrov's specialty.
What do you think about under 5.5 rounds? All of Ruben's past KO losses have come at or before the 5th round. And the line is -120 instead of -270. Plus you do get Tamayo to maybe get to Petrov in the early rounds too.
I was considering it, but I get paranoid with **** like that. Been burned too many times by guys lasting 30 seconds longer than I needed, things like that.
I took the under. Tomayo looks chinny to me and Petrov does have respectable power plus he's a LW. I'll take my chances. Thanks for telling me about this fight. If I win it, I'm going to take Navarette + Korobov at nearly even money on a parlay. I don't see either of those guys losing this weekend, especially Korobov. He already beat Jermall Charlo who is a good couple levels higher than Aleem.
I like Aleem. I was on him at +450 against that Russian he upset... think I might of been the only one. He's a solid fighter, but Korobov is worlds more than solid, even at this stage. I was thinking of playing Navarette ITD, if the odds are decent enough. He almost TKO'ed him near the end of their first bout.
How do you feel about the wilder fight? I know it should absolutely end in knockout but do you think he gets him out of there first half or second-half of the fight? Five of his last seven knockouts have come late in the fight.
I'm having a hard time seeing how that one plays out... Dom is definitely one of those sponges that can just absorb tons of punishment... I've had money on Wilder's stoppage lines before and he makes you sweat for it sometimes... Took him a long time to finally find the chin of that Polish guy, for example.
