Had 15 quid on Avenyensan late doubled with spence late

 

I googled the Spence vs Porter fight to see what time it was... and in the same article, it showed that Spence was the favorite (obviously) however... at -805?!?! Porter at +555??? LOL.

I made a thread awhile ago stating I did not find Joshua nor Spence impressive (eye test really IS everything. Stats and records are just tip of the iceberg.. it's all about context), does Vegas and the casuals REALLY think he is -805 worthy good? Or do they think Porter is that bad? These are ridiculois odds. This is moving up 2 weight classes odds. Am I missing something here? Do you guys agree with these odds?

I would have guessed it would have been abour -400 max for Spence

i think so. i would give porter a 1/4 chance if he was a big puncher, which he is not.

 

Spence turned pro some months before Porter upset Alexander.

And the odds reflect on how people are betting on the fight. This is why at the bookies, McGregor had a better shot at beating Floyd than Manny did. The odds move where the money goes(meaning everyone is betting on Spence).

 

I'm aware of how odds work. This is why it's surprising.
And no, Mcgregor's odds vs Mayweather did not close at a more favorable clip than Pacquiao did, even with all of the filthy casuals betting on Mcgregor.

I checked the opening odds for Spence vs Porter and it opened at -1000 ROFL. They opened Mikeh vs Spence at -450. They must know something we don't

If the fight is remotely close, it's going to Lejeragga. And the fight was close last time before the stoppage. If it was a neutral site, I think I'd roll with Avenyensan but he's got to repeat his last perfomance and KO Lejeragga to win IMO.
