I honestly think taking Joyce in the first three rounds is a near sure hit.

I'm leaning towards that bet. I also like Juarez against Iwasa in what I think is a 50/50. Both guys have been stopped and I think they are operating at a similar level. I do think Iwasa's chin is more shaky than Juarez's and if they get into a firefight, we might be seeing Beltran-Okada all over again. Juarez is +230, so I think it's a good bet.

 

A little early but I'm taking Soto at +550 against Rios next Saturday. Also going to take Molina at +425 against Figueroa Jr.

 

I'd like to take Molina but those knockdowns and near finish loss to Redkach really scares me... Who the hell else has Redkach ever knocked down, or out?

 

Figueroa has been out of the ring for almost two years and got a DUI in that period of time. I think Molina lives a more clean lifestyle than Omar, I've never seen Molina gas in any fight. Figs also think he had surgery on his shoulder. I don't think Omar is super heavy-handed, he is more of a grinder-type.

Molina's age and chin are a concern and it is possible his punch resistance is gone. But Figs shouldn't be this big of a favorite. Unless he clips Molina I think we are in for a war. And Molina can still punch so it is possible he stops Figs. Also I do think Molina has underrated boxing ability, he used boxing to beat Provo, whom I think is better than Figueroa.

If the line was like +200, I'd probably stay away but at +425 I'm comfortable with it. If Omar clips Molina early, I'll tip my hat to him but I can live with the bet regardless of the outcome.
