Get paid £80 mill and do what Arum and ESPN wants or beat Wilder again and get robbed again, that were Fury's choices. What would you choose?

With ESPN also offering a deal to Wilder I can only assume Fury's plan was to sign with ESPN, hope they can sign Wilder too and so they can fight a truly fair fight and not have to worry about getting robbed.

No guarantees it works of course but it's better than the alternative.

The grammar on that WBC tweet. Christ. Was it written by Wilder himself?

Fury will never ever make 80 mil with Arum...............Arum on the other hand will make more $$$$$ than Fury, that is guaranteed.

Who made more money , Mayweather or Pac ? Hint, the one who was not with Arum.

I think Fury finished the fight thinking everything was okay, but got shook when he saw a replay of the 12th round.

Sorry, he drew with Wilder. Your opinion doesn’t change the result.

If your name isn't Badou Jack, you can't have a draw and win at the same time.

lol @ Wilder talking big now Fury has made his decision..

Seems to be a common theme with him. Quiet as a mouse until someone is committed elsewhere then start talking tough...

Fury went into his back yard, with his judges and promotion and still got a draw (which should have been a UD to Fury)..

Fury deserves to get some reward for doing this and a big money contract is the least of what he should get.. Now the downside to this is he need to compromise with his new masters which is fair enough plus they know how big Fury is going to be in the US so they want to build him up right and outside the nuthuggers on this forum and bumfuk Alabama, Wilder isn't that popular nor likeable..

Wilder is just upset he won;t be able to bring his judges et al for the rematch and Fury will be getting far more than him (rightfully so being a A side..

I wouldn't mind Fury vs Pulev. It's got a story there (Revenge for Hughie's defeat), so it's not a complete dead fight. The matchup is unfortunately a bad one though. Tyson has the reach, height and strength that Hughie doesn't so that completely changes the fight around. The same goes for Fury vs Parker (I find that a more competitive matchup than Fury vs Pulev though)

And also...it ruins Deontay Wilder. Why? Because he's starting to age. A warm up fight against Breazeale does no good for him. Wilder's best years are coming to an end, and I think that's the plan for Fury. (And Joshua too, to be fair). Fury won't get the criticism, it'll be Wilder fighting Breazeale that gets all the hate here. They aren't ducking, but they aren't desperate for a Wilder fight either.

Wilder is the loser of all this. He can't sign a contract because Fury and Joshua are in one. He's not the star that Showtime and Haymon were hoping he'd be, and it's all because of Fury outsmarting them with the ESPN deal. And let's get this straight, the Fury ESPN deal is NOT to duck Wilder. It's actually to ruin his future value, because he's now faced with having to fight on ESPN or DAZN as the second placed fighter, or sign a contract and face bums for the rest of his career. The Fury deal traps him in place.

Not to mention, with Arum getting Pulev on ESPN, it also limits Wilder's opponents. Pulev is a obvious choice for Wilder to look good against, it's a typical fat high guard Wilder opponent.

Unfortunately, the other loser is Whyte... He will now to have stop persuing the fight against Breazeale. That means he either faces true pain against Povetkin (He needs to avoid that at ALL costs), or face Ortiz (He can win that one).

Seemed to be the opinion of a 50-0 boxer as well. 2 punches don’t win you a fight.

Aj vs Wlad. (which is still the biggest win in aj career) Fury easily beat Wlad way before Aj did.

Two punches didn’t win Wilder the fight. Again, it was a draw.
