Ugly kid, you can't do that!

How dare they compare this to Benn/Eubank. Degale has the Khan factor, everytime he opens his mouth I just want him to shut up. It's absolutely cringeworthy, but he did raise a good point about Groves' style and how he's fighting all wrong.

And that was when........"Mike Tyson stepped into a K1 ring to front Bob Zapp"

And it sounded like he said...."Marcus of Queensbury"....

James Degale has a very childish and bullish demeaner..........

The way he is so confident, and George Grooves is not comfortable to speak pover him. I beleave James Degale has the same affect, on which David Haye had on Enzo Maccarinelli.

David Haye dictated the build up to that fight, and basically brainwashed Enzo Maccerinelli.

I've got him mixed up with the boxer, who James Degale fought.

    That scouser fella.

He was a big fat ****, on the Prize Fighter promo shoot.

It annoys me the way some boxers, don't keep in shape.

Exactly, you can only imagine what Kenny would have done to Degale if he called him a ginger! He stuck the head on Groves for a lot less!!!

& while Im on the subject, Groves was a lucky boy against kenny Anderson cos the ref stopped that fight WAY too early. As usual on these shores.

It'll all be academic once Degale clowns him in the ring and sends him home.

I cant see him remembering this. I think he is more liable to stick to the playground taunts.

DeGale is being poorly advised on how he presents himself. We live in a time where sportsmen are being asked to be role models and here we have a very talented young British boxer coming across as a schoolboy bully. This persona may well cost DeGale money outside the ring. I cant see too many companies wanting use him as a spokesman for their products. I cant see him fronting a major antibullying campaign for instance. The persona he is projecting is potentially detrimental to his legacy. From what I read here he is warm and personable when people meet him in person. All the baiting and badboy stuff comes across as forced and stilted. He doesn't look comfortable when delivering his lines.

Boxing needs a 'face' to help promote and encourage the sport onto mainstream media in this country.

Adam Booth may well be coaching or having Groves coached in presentation techniques. He may have a better eye as to the wider market available to Groves outside of boxing. Groves had the upper hand in the Ringside confrontation. Groves has the win over DeGale from the ams and it clearly annoys DeGale. Psychologically this is a massive confidence boost for Groves. For all DeGale's posturing he let slip that he was beaten 'fair and square'. When he tried to retract his statement it flashed in my mind that DeGale is not as confident of his ability as he would like us to believe.

I am looking forward to how this builds up.

There was so much stuff Groves got spot on. Groves was right about DeGales inflated ego. his confidence has come from McDonnell, the pundits & fans bigging him up to be something amazing.

DeGale will be in the ring with a guy he knows 100% can hurt him. His ego is to much to admit that to his trainers.
