At the point the ref stopped it there was only one winner and Anderson was taking some big shots.

Anderson would beat Smith IMO and is a very decent fighter. I am very tempted to back him for Prizefighter.

De Gale really showed himself to be a pratt on Ringside. He really comes across like an annoying little school biy on the bus who you want to slap.
Its a shame because on the formn of recent fights I think he is the likely winner. Though he really needs to learn to carry himself with a bity of class.
Lets face it Groves does not exactly come across as the most intelligent guy you have ever met. Yet next to De Gale he comes across like Einstein.
Coming from the "streets" is no excuse for being that mentally inempt. Especially when you see how well B'Hop comes acroos on the same show

DeGale has had a harder time of the fans than Groves, unfairly aswell, getting booed on his debut etc

Thats what got me backing him and i hope he knocks Groves the f out.

I honestly think as a few others have said that DeGale has the upper hand psycologically, i think the signs were fairly obvious.

sooo many good and interesting points on this thread. and we've got 2 more months of this psychological warfare to go!
looks like groves has really only got the 'keep cool'/'mention the amateur fight' lines whereas de gale has a lot more potential ammo (like the post about being booth's puppet). having said that if groves has or can 'train the brain' to not let the red mist descend and just fight clinically then he might get de gale worried.
have to say i've lost a lot of respect for de gale having seen that, and that little devil on my shoulder is now starting to say 'go on groves, spark him out'!
quite funny de gale saying that groves has got no fans, well there's hardly a massive de gale suprters club either is there?
really, really intriguing, just hope it doesn't end up a damp squib like haye/harrison or brook/jennings

when you hear both of them talking and saying how they're gonna knock the other one out, you start to be convinced that both are an option. that's the thing about hype.

problem is, when you forget the hype and who talks best, and who is psychologically winning, and you just look at the style and form then its a blatant win for degale. which makes it less interesting.
