I agree with most in that Groves came accross as more mature and more likeable, but I'm convinced that in the fight he will be made to pay for holding that left hand low and Degale will just be too slick for him.

I don't see a Degale knockout as we haven't seen concussive power from him (though that may change of he tightens up his punches and thows less cuffing shots), but he should have enough to score a wide UD with a few scares along the way.

anytime i wore contacts when sparring decent people they often got moved when i got hit, making it almost impossible to see/short sighted in one eye which is pretty much impossible to box with.

although when i sparred **** people...no problem at all

Groves defo came off better and although DeGale is favourite I sense a bit of uncertainty about DeGale for the 1st time in his career. Groves could take him into waters he aint been in before. Im gonna be controversial and say Groves wins by mid round KO.

Degale was cringeworthy! Everything he said was Brent-esque, "heaps and bounds", talking about his tie when is bluff had been called about the bet and the breath comment was ridiculous.

Degales a talent but needs putting on his arse, I hope Groves does it, and good on him for giving it to Johnny Nelson as well, disgustingly dismissive of Georges acheivments.

Groves won this big. DeGale was veerrrry uncomfortable there. The 2 of their body languages spoke volumes to me. As for Groves with the bet, fair play to him. He called DeGales bluff in front of the cameras and came out of it looking the classier guy. I dont mind DeGale but after that showing id love to see Groves win

Groves came across really really well... the first I have seen him on TV. DeGale was like a spoilt child with silly insults. Hopes Groves wins based on that Sky programme.

The best bit of yesterdays ringside was when Groves gave a bit back to Nelson.

Groves looks like he is in Degale's head already, really looking forward to this fight as this will be tasty.

Don't let the hate for Degale blind you guys, come fight night Degale is not going to give a **** what anyone thinks and if anything would be motivated to prove everyone wrong. It's just him and Groves in the ring and there were plenty of booing fans in Liverpool when he fought Smith and look how that affected him.

Exactly all this talk was said before. How would he handle it. Lets face it...he's been on big stage...hostile crowd and dealt with business with sheer ease. Groves has been on undercards in front of decent crowds. Not saying he will fold just think all this ''he's getting better of DeGale'' is bollocks. I don't see any difference between to mentally. Both are thick. Groves is a robot where as James has free reign to be as thick as he likes.

Look how the thread has gone. Degale got int his head, Degale was Childish, Groves was riled, Groves came across well. It is just people seeing what they want to see

    Everybody is a psuedo physchologist

Degale was nearly on his knees begging for groves to come to angrily try and knock him out and brawl so it would fall into degales style like his past three opponents have done.

ha,why doesnt degale come brawl and make it a fight! :bbb

it will be a close tense fight early on,i think groves has real decent power, and good movement, speed and combinations that will start to land clean on degale, degale wont have the pop and power to get to groves

groves wont be slow and open like smith and dilks were.

groves sparring froch and going to spar dirrell will really get him ready to dispatch degale.

Just watching press conference and DeGale says ''look he's shitting himself'' the camera goes to Groves his reaction wasn't cool and calm it looked like he was rather agitated.

Does it matter nah...what matter's is when James arm is raised and ''Still!!!!!!!!! British Super Middleweight Champion''

DeGale is such a child. Errr, you breath??? Idiot.

Mayweather could do better than that, and he's one of the worst trash talkers there has been for some while. Bring back Naz.

I still think DeGale's face at 2 points in this video was the funniest thing in it. at 4 minutes...and the 'he's gassed..he's gassed'.
