The whole thing made me laugh, looks like I'm in the minority but I thought DeGale got the best of it, you could see Groves losing his rag when he got him to face and ripped on his tie, breath all the childish things. However DeGale did hit a good point, Groves did sound like he was rehearsing some of the put down whereas DeGale was just being his usual self for the camera coming off as a complete nob but I think that's his intention to rile Groves. Not that it matters, all that **** will be forgotten by fight night.

I also thought Nelson folded way to easy, if he thought he was limited and hasn't progressed because of the Anderson fight he should have said so not cave almost in the next sentence and say he showed heart.

I think DeGale tries to be an american type trash talker. Like the other night he went to say something then hesitated i think he know's he's talking like a idiot then makes a mess of what he's saying.

He tries to be something he ain't. He's a confident lad and that's great and tbh he's thick like George but he needs to keep that confidence in check.

Tbh i don't have a issue with today's antics...hardly disgusting...some of you lot laughed at stuff Mayorga said in past yet whinge about him moaning at Groves breath.

Groves and DeGale got schoolyard beef and on 21st like kids used to do in playground. There gonna swing it out not for the love of titles but for pride!

    War DeGale!!!

Also, I am getting very pissed off with Johnny Nelson. Why was he asking if the fight was coming too soon? It's the fight THE FANS want to see Johnny! Nelson seems to want all the fighters to take the safety-first approach and give us crap fights. Slight conflict of interest there, Johnny.

Just watched the Hopkins piece. One man show. Brilliant.

His life should be a move. Call it Stay of Execution or something.

That man could do a one man tour and I'd go and watch.

    Cheer UC:good

They should just forget about Cleverly in this build up.

I would like to see a 24/7 style doc on Groves - Degale because this is the first genuine top level rivalry we have had since Benn-Eubank. It would be compelling viewing.

An independent company should do this, and sell the doc to Sky if Sky dont want to do it - I really think it will be one for the archives. A great, great fight - I cant wait for it.

Yeah that was brilliant, not a fan of his fighting style but I still route for him just cause as he said by lying he is making history.

    ^ Mayorga is genuinely funny.

DeGale is just a idiot with no charisma whatsoever.

He'll be like Harrison; as soon as he loses a big fight the press will crucify him. For now they'll tag along and tolerate the bravado but his ego will be destroyed after his 1st loss.

Hopkins is compelling viewing, man he is a massive character. Love his anecdote about the warden - what other sport will have a guy talk about it like that - that is what separates boxing from all of the other sports. Bernard Hopkins epitomises the traditional mentality of boxers.

Yes Mayorga is but when saying stuff about a man's dead mother....going beyond realms of banter/trash talk.

I think James embarrasses himself but it's no biggy imo. He's not all ticket...but he can fight no doubts. Kid's talented.

I think Degale is trying to mimic Mayweather with the insults trying to play the bad guy even using the shoulder roll when fighting. Would love to see Groves win this but i can't see it......Warren would not put him in there if he was not confident of the win. My heart says Groves by k.o but my head goes with Degale on points...i don't think Degale has the power to stop Groves.
