***Official Groves v Degale Build-up Thread*** Who's getting KTFO?

There wasn't much to say anyone owned anyone. Groves came across like a measured adult, but I think he's right: DeGale has big issues - I don't think he's as confident as he makes out.

Either way, it was two people slagging each other. So what?

DeGale's best win is over a guy who's worse than Anderson.

 

Exactly like a lil kid upset. He speaking like a spoilt child when he said ''you said after Adamu you da man i hold hands up''. George grow up...one guy was awful in Dilks bout prior you got put in with Kenny and he beat you up for fair chunk of that bout.

Noticed a few grey hairs. I can't believe he let that slip...unless he thinks he become like George Clooney.

 

Did anyone else laugh at DeGale. 3:56 onwards...has me in creases. You can't say thats a guy that is lacking confidence deep down.

Whereas DeGale just was clowning and confident as usual. Nothing scripted about him.

DeGale did fine to be honest. He wasn't outclassed here. It was just funny overall.

He tries way too hard.

 

Thats not really an indication IMO. Does James Toney lack confidence because he tries very hard? That can be read any number of ways just like everything in life.

If anything DeGale's been building confidence all the time so I've no reason to doubt he's very confident. Olympic gold, progressing serenely and quickly as a pro, by all accounts handling good fighters in sparring. He did what he said he was going to do in his last fight, why would he have doubts here?
