Winky UD. 117-111, 116-112, 116-112. With possibly 9-8 rounds going to Winky-Tinky!

 

That's the only conclusion I can come up with.

 

Wink got this one...too good a defense Hopkins doesnt hit as hard as Taylor so he wont punch through that guard like Taylor....plus Wink has one of the best jabs in the business...i see wink winning SD or UD either way its a close fight.

 

Yeah, well a win is a win is a win. You or anyone can make the argument that Bhop was past is prime, thats just for arguments sake, the bottomline was that it was Bhop that wanted this fight and he got it. Winky will put him where he shoulda been in the first place, retirement!

 

Very tight and debateable decision for either man. Either way, a lot of people will be bitching after the fight is over about a robbery.

 

Hopkins by decision. Hopkins is still too smart and driven to be stopped, and he'll have no concern about Winky's power -- Hopkins will use angles and subtle movement that Winky has never seen before. He won't overpower Winky, no-one does, but he will hit him more cleanly than he's been hit in a long time.

 

WINKY BY UD. 115-113, 115-113, 116-112. I'm little surprised Winky isn't favourite in this fight :think . That may be better for him :yep

I'm gonna get it too. I don't think it's gonna be a snoozer though. I actually think Winky's gonna beat him up pretty good and stop him late. We're gonna see Hopkins's age.

I don't see the hate for this fight.

It's one of the only fights in ears the opinion is truly diided on. You have the ones who think Hopkins will will a close fight. plenty thing Winky will win a close fight too. Some also think that Wright or B-Hop could take the W very easily.

It's like you have 25% of fans all going for something different. I'm fed up of fights like Cotto/Judah, Mayweather/Baldomir or Calzaghe/Bika, where anyone with a brain or isn't desperate for attention, knows who will win.

It's a very hard fight to pick, and that's what boxing should be.

I don't think it'll be as bad as people think either. Wright has a reputation for being boring, as does Taylor. Look what happened there. boring vs. boring doesn't mean it wil be a boring fight. Styles dictate that, and I think Wright and Hopkins will have good chemistry.

Personally, I'll go with wright. Probably 8-4, but it should be good anyway. He throws too many shots and his defence is too good for an old Hopkins. Check out the stas on how Mosley did against Wright's defence. Hopkins is slower and throws less punches, so Wright should land a lot more.
