Pac Cotto did 1.25M and Cotto Margo did 600K

Like many floyd fights, pre-fight estimates will be too high. Then after the fight there will be rumours of low numbers... then the real numbers will come out better than the rumours, but worse than the early estimates.

Nobody expected the Ortiz fight to do that much. he had no fanbase. floyd made him relevant. 1.25 is pretty damn good and shows how much of a draw floyd is. Pac vs Clottey did 700,000 and that shows u how much of a draw pac is :deal :yep

Cotto/Floyd will do way better than whoever Pac is going to fight. Both Cotto and Floyd have alot of fan base and ofcourse everyone, including me, want to see Floyd lose. I just hope this backfires on Arum! :happy The only fight I see making as big PPV numbers to parallel Cotto/Mayweather is Pac/Marquez 4. Its not a fight I want to see but alot of Mexicans do want to see it!

    Pac/Bradley will be a **** fight!

750,000 ppvs. All any one remembers about cotto is him quiting against Margarito and jumping on his tricycle against the GOAT.

It seems 1.3-1.8. I believe it will do MUCH more than Cotto Pacquiao-1.8-2.0 is the most likely imo...

I think 1.5 give or take is the most likely.

One factor I don't think has been discussed is the cost - the PPVs seem to keep going up so I wonder what the celling is for casual fans? $65?

I alos wonder how it will be marketed to the casuals via vehicles like 24-7; there doesn't seem to be the natural history and animosity there between the 2, and the fact Floyd is moving up a weight class like you said in the OP isn't enough in my opinion.

Still, if I was American, I'd buy it.

Damn you guys cant talk without fighting.

For ppvs, anything over 500,000 is good, 1 mil is really good, and over 1.5 is ridiculous good. This fight will sell about 1.4 to 1.5 mil. They are 2 of the biggest names in boxing, but this is no Mayweather-Pacquiao so it wont do 2 mil. **** outta here wit dat haha

1.1 to 1.4....I really hope it does more then 1.5 .... It is on may 5th and a good matchup.... It'll be similar to the Ortiz and mosely fights...although part of me says it can do better because of how well cotto marg 2 did, so we will see...it actually a decent fight for boxing

I think this fight will be great! I think the undercard is getting even better.

DE LA HOYA HAS CONFIRMED THAT CANELO WILL BE ON THE UNDERCARD-

    Canelo-Mosley anyone!???!!
