I'll bump this again if there is a terrible scorecard. Maybe, we will see a pattern with certain judges. I'll start it off with: Benoit Roussel: 114-114 in Funeka/Guzman 114-112 for Campbell over Funeka Pierre Benoist 119-110 for Williams over Martinez Tom Kaczmarek 116-110 for Cintron over Martinez. Gale E. Van Hoy 118-110 for Diaz over Malignaggi
If this thread is aimed at recent poor judging, I'd nominate the dude who jobbed my boy Chambers against Dimitrenko: Paul Thomas, 113-113atsch. Also, all three judges who went for Sturm over Gevor: Raul Caiz 115-113 | Ruben Garcia, Dr. 115-113 | Daniel Talon 117-111.
I'll try to aggregate a bit in this post. I'm pretty interested by this one. Eugenia Williams 115-113 for Holyfield over Lewis Doug Tucker 120-108 for Navarro over Mijares 117-110 for Toney over McCallum II 119-109 for Griffin over Toney II Daniel Talon 117-111 Sturm over Gevor Glenn Feldman 115-113 Coleman over Arnaoutis Kevin Morgan 115-113 Coleman over Arnaoutis Frank Lombardi 114-113 Casamayor over Santa Cruz Ron McNair 114-113 Casamayor over Santa Cruz Terry O'Connor 98-92 Fury over McDermott Dalby Shirley 114-113 Rubio over Ouma Paul Thomas 113-113 Dimitrenko against Chambers Benoit Roussel: 114-114 in Funeka/Guzman Pierre Benoist 119-110 for Williams over Martinez Tom Kaczmarek 116-110 for Cintron over Martinez. Gale E. Van Hoy 118-110 for Diaz over Malignaggi 114-114 for John vs. Juarez I 117-111 Taylor over Spinks Glen Hamada 115-113 Katsidis over Diaz Jerry Roth Hopkins over Taylor in fight 1 116-112 Trinidad over De La Hoya 115-113 Boudouani over Jones 116-112 De La Hoya over Whitaker 116-110 Foreman over Schulz 115-113 Pazienza over Duran in fight 1 117-112
I was just about to mention Mr Tucker. It was in fact the Jose Navarro fight that he scored 120-108 - in Navarro's favour. However, you could still mention the Munoz fight. Gustavo Padilla scored it 115-113 to Munoz in a fight he won no more than 2 or 3 rounds in.
Someone needs to build a website dedicated to exposing/embarrassing poor judging. Another thought: encourage boxrec to post rnd x rnd scorecards with each fight they log. Also, no letting judges off just because the fight didn't go to the cards or the right guy still won... Tyson/Douglas at time of stoppage... Ken Morita 87-86 (Tyson)| Masakazu Uchida 86-86
Jerry Roth Hopkins over Taylor in fight 1 116-112 Trinidad over De La Hoya 115-113 Boudouani over Jones 116-112 De La Hoya over Whitaker 116-110 Foreman over Schulz 115-113 Pazienza over Duran in fight 1 117-112
Gale E. Van Hoy 118-110 for Diaz over Malignaggi 114-114 for John vs. Juarez I 117-111 Taylor over Spinks Gale Van Hoy not looking so great. First two are TERRIBLE. I can understand the Taylor/Spinks scorecard to some extent because Spinks ran all night.
