    I know this thread is two months early, but I would like to get a sense of who wins the fight between Kelly Pavlik and Bernard Hopkins on October 18th in Atlantic City, NJ. Pretty much, vote in the poll on what you think the result of the fight will be. In addition, feel free to add your thoughts on how the fight will progress and what you think will be strengths/advantages and weakness/disadvantages that both fighters will bring into the ring in terms of their styles and tale of the tape.

    I'm rooting for Pavlik . . . but I can see Bhops . . . winning it on pointS via a sleeper UD. :D

    Hopkins makes it an ugly fight, makes Pavlik look bad, but doesn't do enough to win it and after the fight when interviewed by Max, he bitches about the decision. GUARANTEED. :D

    Bernard will be able to negate Pavlik's main tool; his power. But will be unable to stop his workrate and will loose by a close-dirty decision. Just like he was able to muffle Joe's speed but not stop his work rate.

    Hopkins aint getting any younger and Kelly is coming into his physical prime. I'd be hard pressed to go against Kelly Pavlik. Kelly has a good workrate and really likes to set a quick pace from the opening bell. Pavlik decisions Hopkins a clear 8-4, 116-112.

    Ill be cheering for Hopkins however I don't think he has the workrate required to sway the judges from scoring it for Pavlik. 116-112 Pavlik

    I think people (myself included) are a little reluctant to count out B-Hop cause he not only went the distance with Joe, but knocked his ass down and did so nicely. However, I think Joe's chin is inferior to Pavliks. KP over B-Hop by UD.

    i think pavlik gots this, so im going for pavlik ko 9th rnd (bhop is getting to old gas tank runs out faster)

    Pavliks power, workrate and heart push Hopkins to start fighting dirty and I can see this fight becoming a clinch fest. Pavlik Late Round TKO and he adds one more boxer who has never been knocked out to the knockout list. Let this fight just be over with, Pavlik -Calzaghe is all I want to see.
