I have a feeling that this fight could pack more excitement than the main event.... Kirkland seems unstoppable but Vera just derailed the Andy Lee hypetrain in dominating fashion....Difficult to call this one Your thoughts:think
I will not be surprised if Vera actually beats Kirkland since I have said in the past Kirkland is a KO waiting with that being said I think Kirkland will win the fight by stoppage but I have a feeling we will see him hurt before getting his KO.
Good point, Kirkland is abit chinny, leaves himself open but applies ferocious pressure. If Vera can weather the early storm, I think he can stop him mid-late rounds.
Kirkland by KO,it will go a few rounds cuz Vera soaks up punishment.It will be very one-sided.That being said Kirkland is gonna lose when he fights someone with skills.
No,Lee ain't anything special,just a hypejob without a reason,plus the stoppage was ****,he could have contnued and he would have probably won.Vera has no chance here whatsoever.
Vera is tough and if he can get out of the early rounds and has something left this could get interesting. I don't think he wins but could give Kirkland trouble if he survives. Kirkland by stoppage I just don't know when. This will probably be the best fight of the night because the Hatton-Malignaggi fight doesn't look too appealing.
I would love to see Angulo vs Kirkland, it would be a war for the few rounds that will last. Because Angulo would ko Kirkland badly.
