Official Klitschko-Chagaev Poll: Ya'll musta forgot..Chagaev is garbage.

Haye has a glass jaw. His only chance is early. Chagaev is much more accomplished at heavyweight. He can punch, take a punch, counter, or cover up.

Chagaev is an upgrade over Haye as an opponent. Also, to call Chagaev style amateurish is not right. Chagaev can counter cleanly, or hook well, which are traits not often found in amateur boxing.

 

Chagaev is a southpaw, who can hit. I doubt many people felt Sanders would beat Wlad, yet he did.

All the poll says is people's best guess is Wlad should win. Wlad is viewed as the best heavyweight the world. He will win any poll vs active fighters not named Klitschko.

If Chagaev were British, you'd be on his jock 24/7.

 

Id say Chagaev has decent pop but not top level power. I think where Chagaev is going to struggle the most relates to the disparity in hand and foot speed. Wlad is just too quick for Chagaev imo.

I have a question. Chagaev says that he is the real WBA champion (even though WBA says that Valuev is the real one). If he loses the fight with Klitschko what will he say ? If he wants to be a real MAN he must say that he is no more champion . Since he will have lost from Wlad , then Wlad will be the "real" WBA champion. Will he say it ? Or he will accept that "recess" title that now doesn't admit

 

I'm going out on a limb and calling a Chagaev upset via 10th round TKO. That's my official prediction.

I could also see Wlad winning a close decision that a lot of people think should go to Chagaev.

 

Chagaev has no way to avoid the sickening and heavy left jab like Iggy had with fast footwork and unexpected volley punching from unorthodox stance... Means Klitschko by TKO around round 9, most probably by cuts on the eyes.
